man,they are simply PERFECT!very nice plant,I'm sure you will see huge buds from those apicals especially N°3.
Did you give molasses to all?If you keep one plant without molasses you really can see and taste the difference...don't you think?
I'll going to be the same with my plants,but with bloombastic,not molasses.

noreason - To be honest I don't want to compare one plant of not so good with 3 plants of lovely.....just for comparisons sake. From what you and a couple of others have said molasses improves so I chucked it in all four and will take your words for it!!!

Am looking forward to the next couple of weeks and watching these buds fatten up.

Have just put five more beans in to germ. Should be out sometime in the next day. Will pot them up and put them into veg.

I have also decided that I will reveg one plant from this run (probably plant 2) take a cutting and grow a mum. Will see how these four grow out first to see which one to reveg.

AK - Thanks for your comments. Keep checking by its getting interesting now!!! I will be adding molasses every other watering for this run. I don't want to completely overpower the buds natural taste with sugar!!

It seems the general consensus is that my plants are looking very healthy. This is very pleasing as this grow has quite leterally offered up no problems. Exactly what I was looking for in a strain.

Still waiting for my other beans to crack but all in all it feels like a good day!!!!

Hey, sorry, been away for a week or so (quick trip to the Dam to buy some seeds etc). Your plants are looking great!

Mine all cut and well into the drying - I am going to give 'em a few weeks hanging up before I weigh and cure but the first tasters are very satisfying

Comparing your plants and mine, yours are bushier though I am guessing that this is because I cut off the lower third of my plants just before flowering and so they put more up top. I will get some pics up soon...

Do keep a sharp eye out for mould: I lost perhaps 7g from the main cola on my biggest plant and a little from one of the smaller colas due to mould. (actually not too bothered as I think what I lost here would be made up for by the extra growth in the last week or so).

Worth pushing this strain a bit, I think, I took mine to 62 days and the resin build up was very satisfying ; the colas also seemed to "horn up" - colas producing lateral horns of bud in the last few days. I'm pretty sure this is the right time to harvest.

I have to say, from what I have smoked so far (mostly small buds from low down on the indica-leaning pheno I had, which harvested at about 53 days) is that this strain does not taste or smell as described by paradise/BBoB etc

Happlily the plants didn't smell that strongly in the grow (I dont have a carbon filter)...

The smoke..... after some snap curing in a small jar, the flavours (I am not great on discerning flavours) are strong and I would say a mix of citrus and mint. I don't know where the "astringent/pineapple punch" flavours in BBoB come from but they are certainly not present in my buds (those I have tried so far anyway). Still, am very happy with citrus/mint.

the high... (ok, for perspective, I am a moderate smoker, half a gram-1g of bud a day, tobacco free)... the high is distinctly psychedelic. I get noticeably more visuals from this 'Opium' than from many other varieties. Energy-wise it's kind of in the middle. It's not notably upbeat or energetic but neither is it particularly mongy. The trippiness might space you out though. I wouldn't describe this as very intense smoke but it is by no stretch mild either - not one for occasional smokers, it will really spin them out. Good all-rounder.

Limey - Thanks for the report. I grew one opium last time and lost the whole cola to mould from the damp so am keeping an eye out this time.

I'm glad that I didn't remove the lower branches from my plants, especially number 2, each branch has reached the canopy and is producing a good sized bud...very happy!!

What is this bbob you keep referring to?? I would like to check that out.

Not happy with my new beans. two days to crack and only three are even starting to show the finger.

one question:I already see a lot of resin,waht's dark period temperature?
Maybe it's time to stop feeding them with N,I don't see any yellowing leaf for now,but it shoud start to yellowing from the lower leaves right now.

noreason - I have been removing the yellowed leaves (only when completely dead). As for night time temps no lower than 68F.

Can see regular change now. Roll on HARVEST!!!

BBob - sorry - Big Book of Buds. (in this case, vol.3). Stoner pron! Unfortunately I think they take their info straight from the seedbanks rather than actually testing anything themselves but,well, I find them interesting and useful anyway, for offline browsing.

So I move into Day 41 and have added PK 13/14 into the mix. I'll feed with this one more time then it will be water from there on out.

Anyway not much else to report, the smell is increasing quite a bit I suppose!!!

Hola amigo,
very very nice.I like'em,really!I can't see any red pistils,I suppose they fattening up more and more again!Simply a nice genetic from PS!F1 strain,stable,no hermie,good yeld...will taste it soon and give my final opinion!:joint:

Today I started to flush. I've heard as a rule to put 3x your pot size through!!! Not me...that would be 90litres of water per plant!!!

I've run 8 litres (just over double what I would feed with) through each pot and cleared away the runoff to avoid hiked humidity and bud rot in their final two weeks.

I think that plant 3 will be finished earlier than the others but the yield won't be as big so I will leave it the same as the others.

I've only posted a couple of pictures....smoked a big fat one after all the flushing work and before taking pictures.....I took more but they're shite!!!!!
