I am starting up again after a 4-5 year layoff. Previously, I was using 2 x 400w hps lights in a dedicated room down in the basement. Ultimately, I had to stop because my setup was getting hard to hide, or explain away my growing daughters.
But after years of smoking shwag, I have convinced myself that I need to try harder. So I have to improve.
After 2 grows I am still a long way from optimizing my garden. So I appreciate observations and advice.
Here is my cabinet. It is located in my work shop which is walled off in the basement. It is a Gladiator metal cabinet.
Lower chamber is for clones and mothers.
Here is the veg/flower chamber they have been vegging about 5 weeks. I have had a couple setbacks so it has been slow. Started in an ebb n flow, but had problems and switched to soil for this grow only. I will be using Lucas Formula in my 10 gallon ebb n flow next grow.
For my next veg cycle I will use 2 ea. PL-L 55w tubes, or 2 ea. 24" HO T5's. I don't know which way to go. Sorta leaning towards the T-5's because the 2' would be 4 inches extra light in a 30" opening.
On top of the screen there are a couple Sweet Tooth sprouts. That's all I could germinate from 30 ea. 5 year old seeds. They will flower with the C99.
I just need a little more growth so I can take clones. I'll need some luck to get a good female pheno and mother.
Next grow will be Buffoonmans Super Silver Haze X Triesel that I got at the fundraiser. I am confident there will be some nice phenotypes in that .
Wouldn't a stable of C99, Sweet Tooth, Diesel, SSHaze be nice?
