Portable grow room

My most recent build is in an 6 x 12 foot (inner dimension) enclosed trailer grow room. 6 x 6 front section with 2 x 4 foot florescent nursery, 50 gal reservoir, working area, drying area and nutrient storage area. 6 x 6 rear flowering section with 2 x 600W ventilated hoods and 2 x 1000W cool tubes. (Total 3200W for 800W/m2) 12 buckets in flowering area with target plant height ofr 3-4 feet. CO2 from tanks with fan/co2 controller. Ventilation draws from flowering area through light hoods, nursery from drilled PVC and drying area through drilled PVC. 350W reservoir heater. Electric room heater for light off periods. Constant pH/PPM monitor. Professional wiring. Simple plumbing (plug and play water hose) with siphon style waste water removal.

Outside of trailer is very plain. Fan noise is noticeable. I'm working on that. Do not yet have inline odor control installed but have place for it. Without running the cool-tubes the whole unit is plug and play on a 15 amp/110V service. Second cord needed to run additional lights. Got a grow to the early flowering stage with excellent results so far. In colder climates excess humidity can be an issue at night. For this I heat the room to the point it trips the ventilation regularly. Electric heat and grow lights do not run simultaneously.

Everything is secured so the trailer can be moved mid-grow if needed. Usually I just "sterilize" prior to transport and reintroduce plant life. This is a legal grow room. peace

So what is the purpose of this grow trailer? Do you plan on driving around with a grow going on inside the trailer?

I am not trying to give you shit. I am just trying to figure out why you would want a grow on wheels. I mean, what if you hit a big bump while the plants are in there growing. Won't it stress the hell out of them?

Sounds really cool, but just not sure that it is practical.

hope it works out for ya. Piggys dont need a shearch warrant if something smells skunky. Build a house around it. Bueno.

I had that crazy idea once, and damned if my bro didn't go out and build one weeks later. BTW it sound fairly practical for a nomadic lifestyle, ...
Let's say steamboat in the winter and outerbanks for the summer...
All you need is a recepticle :)

Not sure I would drive around all day with the plants growing. Handy for moving around though. Easier than building a new room each time you move. Can also be easily offloaded indoors. I'll be checking in on those cameras danimal7. Thanks for the ups. peace.

i been thinking about the co2saturation/ventilation(cooling)issue that we get in those tight rooms and trailers.

what if the air exhaust dump could be run over next to the fresh/cool air intake so that CO2 that is being sucked out with the heat can be mixed with fresh/cool air and put back in the room.

just a thought I had to help keep co2 saturation high while lights are on and remaining at a constant temp/vent

what do other peeps do for this issue? exhaust off ,co2 on, off,on,off,on ect... with a thermostat?

Good thought danimal. Downside is warm air will be recirculated also so the fan will have to run longer to cool the room. I have a feeling you wont net much co2 savings. On the other hand, some sort of closed loop heat exchanger might work. Like an AC in essence, without the compressor. You'll need relatively cool outside air source I recon. Winter is here. peace.

The Grow & Go greenhouse is a good idea if you live in Vancouver, Canada. If you have excessive power consumption, the Safety and Electrical department will issue a 24 hour notice to inspect your house. This way, you can unplug your mobile grow and drive it away. 5 ton trucks and panel vans are ideal for this. I've built a couple of these for people and they love this. Plug into a 30A or 50A receptacle.
