in mexico with a kilo

well im in mexico and i have a kilo of bud..its some decent fresh outdoor....nothing like indoor nl or any other super dank strain but like i said its dirt cheap ($100 a kilo) and not compacted or anything like that...ok

i want to stop smoking and make some hash or oil for cooking but im messing up somewhere...first i dont have bubble bags or anything like that.....and now im wondering if i should even bother processing it into hash first or just cook it in butter like usual. here are my options

-buy a silkscreen from art store in vallarta and dry seive

-try making gumby hash again with maybe a better filter(that siphoning shit sucks) wasted 300 grams on this

-try finding some butane and making oil (iso is only 70% down here)

-just make a few pounds of butter and rewash it a couple of times to get the chlo.. out

now no matter what way i use,,, it all gonna be made into caramels and lollipops..maybe a little butter for meals and what not ....i have heard its better to cook with kif/hash/oil than bud....but i know i never wasted 300 grams making butter.....

what do ya think?

panty hose hash. Just a small plastic trash can with several layers of panty hose streched over the top. Inside is broken up frozen weed, and rubber balls. Turn it upside down and tape it to an identical small plastic trash can shake for a while. then make butter with the weed after you get the sift. I'll let you figure out how to press the hash.

i heard of pantyhose way...i dont mind buying the silkscreen fabric, with that being said...do you think the quality would be the same with either one?

do you think swagg would make some decent dry seive?

im leaving for tepic now i heard a rumor of butane there....but if i need 2 cans of butane per ounce this could get expensive 2.2 lbs is about 35 ouces or 70 cans of butane is like ......alot..so maybe ill just do a little oil

I say go with the silkscreen then, and use the sieved weed for butter as HZ said. Just sieve it carefully to make sure that you will get a nice end product and you should be good.

well i couldnt find butane, silkscreen, or any other kind of subsitute, i did find some panty hose......

now the good news i found an ounce a hash that bubbles when smoked for about 200usd....

this should work good for caramels.....

as far as making hash im gonna to try another batch of water hash withouit the bags..this time im going to use a paint strainer or the panty hose for the material collection and instead of syphoning the water out im going to pour the whole thing in a tent dome cover and let it slowly drip out..this will catch everything so ill have to find some third world way of filtering again, but maybe not---

im taking some haze and blueberry clones up in the jungle tomorrow so in a few months everything should be back to normal.....

if you can get good silk screens go with those over the panyhose any day. I just dont kniw what is available where you are. It is pretty hard already to find decent sil screens in the us.

I would reccomend using the paint strainer as the 220 bag and the panty hose like a 160, then after pouring the water through, plat matter will be out and trichs in the water. then slowly filter this through a coffee filter, the trichs should stay in the filter. also check the panty hose for some lower grade hashish. caramels sound delicious! not to mention the stealth factor......
