I run a cf 24/7 with active intake, but every time I open the door in there
its just like an old friend coming to greet me :friends:

yes its the pink pheno that is exhibiting those bud formations, guess Ill
have to be careful with RH as I wouldn't want bud rot in those

nice strain smoker, pink hairs are a real treat. I have some gods gift x blue goo that has certain phenotypes that turn really pink. can't wait to do a seed run of them and mum out that pheno

thank you amoril, Im surprised at how well they are doing considering
they are under a 400w MH, which only has 35000L when compared
with the 58000L of the hps I usually use.
there are around 34 days to go

theres a school of thought that follows the idea of MH promoting more resin / trichome development, and HPS being more to do with the calyx development / bud formation.....could be contributing to their beauty, at least

the grower who made these told me he was of the opinion that the MH
made the smoke more psychoactive and after he pleaded with me to at
least give it a shot, I figured it would be pretty stupid not to listen.
a fellow grower has 4 clones of the pink pheno under hps and they are not
exhibiting the same colouration.

anyhow here are a few more from day 50 so 30 to go

they just start browning off and I think the end is in sight
then they start throwing new flower clusters again

mind you I'm not complaining

just means Ill have them to look at longer

I've definitely noticed that supplemental UVB light increases trichome production at least on many strains, but I've never noticed an increase in psychoactivity or indeed any change in character of effect. I'll be interested in your impressions when it's all said and smoked. There's not a lot of information out there on this kinda stuff, so people conducting these informal 'experiments' can really contribute. Eventually, we might figure this one out between us.

Strainbrain when I first started indoor growing I used to just add an hps
at flower time and keep the mh running which produced some remarkable smoke.
