oh yeah.. they are already spinning this to justify renewing the Patriot Act which is coming up for renewal in 2 months. A congressman from Texas was on Fox News a while ago talking about how essential it is to keep the Patriot Act in place to prevent things like this from happening in the future...

1 Shooter was involved.
The Army lost control of one of it's bases for 6 hours.
They knew he was alive but info officer gave media a misleading story about other shooters to keep them away and at arms length while they interrogated this Major. The military is about control.

Dude if we didn't have cons in the military we wouldn't have a military. I had a guy three bunks down talking shit about a murder rap he got pushed down to this and that, did a few years and recruiting Captain signed his waiver. Could've been talking shit, but I wouldn't put it past any of them.

let's get out fucking facts right, it was the US government run by GW fucking Bush that dropped the ball in Boston airport security that allowed 9/11, also the same incompetents of the same admin that gave us the current trillion+ financial disaster we currently face. Obama admitted he inhaled, Bush is to fucking dumb to inhale!
The base was on lockdown for 6 hours. I believe the shooter was put down within minutes. He unloaded in the reception area. It would have been full of soldiers going through processing. A civilian lady police officer took him down and was shot a few times herself. Both are in stable condition.
Lockdown means everyone gets into a building once the sirens go off and stays there. It's how they do accountabillity. Once everyone is accounted for they lift the lockdown. Fort Hood is the biggest military installation the world so it takes a while to account for everyone.
Very few soldiers will be carrying weapons on a military base. Only the MP's or soldiers who have checked them out of the armory who are going on approved training missions.
