-4x4x6'8 tent
-600W HPS, air-cooled with exhaust which is carbon filter with 6" 250CFM inline fan
-two fans circulating air inside
-temps still a bit high 81 to 84 with lights on
-2 JH, 1 NL, 1 RH from seed
-One of each all started at same time about two weeks ago, second JH started one week and a few days ago.
-Fafard Organic Veranda Potting Soil
-Will eventually feed with guano teas
-some amendments added to bottom of larger pots (guano, blood meal, EWC etc.)
-planning on starting the RH on some mild EWC teas in a few days depending on how it looks. Not sure if I should leave it for a bit if it looks healthy
-NL and first JH have some weird curling in the second set of leaves, third set appears to be coming in fine. I have no idea what caused this and I am very curious someone please comment on this as I want to fix whatever it is I did wrong for next run, as well as if it will cause problems with the plants now. Have a few more pics if you can't tell from these just ask.

Jack Herer #2 seems to be recovering from leaf curling issue as Red Hair did. Fingers crossed.

I really hope someone knows what is causing this issue I would like to solve the problem for future set-ups as well as to finish these. No other forum has given me an answer that makes sense so far, I know it's harder to get an answer on this one due to the amount of people here and how good some are so lesser known members get less attention, however I need your growing expertise so PLEASE ANSWER GUYS thanks a lot. Peace.

look like they need to be fed some nutes. Some strains have a little leaf curling.

Thanks man I gave a very diluted tea to the Northern Lights to compensate for the yellowing it is starting to exhibit but I didn't think that the curling would be due to no nutes as they started doing it immediately after sprouting when you are not supposed to be feeding them and they are now starting to recover.

Also I am running three different strains and had curling on all three in some way. Some more serious than others therefore it makes me think it is something I have done wrong.

is your fan a vortex? that should cool things down...

The 240CFM inline exhaust fan is connected to my Carbon Filter and exhausts through my cooltube. Also have two oscillating to circulate air inside.

I actually have another 170 CFM 4" vortex but hooking it up in line with the other fan has no noticeable effect other than more noisy, and hooking it up as a seperate exhaust is out of the question at the moment just because I only have one filter and it is connected to my other fan.

Any suggestions welcome.

curling leaves can be ph related, whats the ph of your runoff? too high or too low or swings in ph can cause this.

Ya? would running the HPS bulb suck more electricity than the MH? didn't even know that it's the same ballast and everything. Interesting though thanks for the info.

No theres no difference in power consumtion, unless of course ther different wattages

Figured I'd post an update, doing better.

problem was tap water. Now using spring water.

All in five gallon pots now except Jack Herer#1 which is around 7 or 8 gal.

Haven't been fed anything other than a few compost teas.

Thinking of switching to nutes instead of teas for actual feeding now and to finish. Teas are too much work inside for few plants I've decided.
