My Tea Made My Plants Do This / WTF / Pic

I made a tea in a 3 gallon bucket with the following.....4 tbsp fish hydrosylate, 4 tbsp of EWC, 4 tbsp Dr. Earth Bud and Bloom Fertilizer. I brewed the tea with an airstone for 18 hours.

I mixed 3 parts water to 1 part tea, and watered 3 of my MTF girls this morning. I came home to find the three girls with there upper leaf sets reaching for the sky, and it looks like they're an inch taller (stretched). The plant in foreground of pic did not get watered, the two in the background did.

Is this normal, or did I F**k up my plants?

dude, they look happy as hell to me.

leaves pointing up is no prob.

They were all looking like the front pic this morning, It just freaked me out to see them all standing up......I'm still new with the teas......was trying for a "fungal" tea as described throughout the forums.

Thanks for replying.

Brethren, the lord lifted his hands unto big_daddy's thunderfuck........and the thunderfuck rose to the heavens.........lol......no really thanks to all you guys for your kind words and encouragement.

Lil Wayne......that was some crafty photoshopping! I don't know if I can rep you, but with so few posts it won't matter much, but I'll try.

I've been over at the city for a couple of years, but there's not as much of a knowledge base on the organic side as here. I've been an online student of this forum for several months nows now, and just recently started posting.

I'm enthralled by the "microscope" crowd here.......I read the threads here until the early hours of the morning....thanks to all for sharing your expertise.

I don't think so guys. Looks like the beginning of a magnesium deficiency to me. When you get that, the plants are "Praying for Magnesium". I'd keep a close eye on them.
Did you use powdered dolomite lime in your soil mix at 2 tbs./gal. of final mix.

I took that into consideration B1 and saw no signs of deficiency on the outer edges. There is also no discoloration on the leaves to point in that direction.....but I could be wrong.

I had a Quick Kali that used to do that every time I watered her. Even cuts from her did the same thing.

Jury is out on this one it looks like. Time will tell.

Keep us posted on their progress.

I re-used my soil mix from my last organic grow. In 50 ga. Rubbermaid totes, i added to my re-used soil the following; 6 cups All Purpose Fertilizer , 6 cups Gaia Glacial Rock Dust, 6 cups Soil Sweet (dolomite lime), 3 cups Diatomaceous Earth, 2-5 ga. buckets EWC, and perlite.(4:1 with soil)

I water in the re-mixed soil with an EWC Tea, to which I add molasses, and a small amount of pond enzymes. The re-used soil sits in the totes for 4-6 weeks before re-use.

When I plant, or transplant, I use 1tsp-1tbsp of granular mychorrhizae. I use more as I pot up.

I don't think the lime is powdered, looks more like little granules.

Lastly, what is the best way to get Mg. to the plant? I forgot to add that I used some molasses in my tea, like 1 tbsp in three gallons. I know that there is some Mg. in molasses, but will it be sufficient in the tea?

Thanks again to all that help.

to each his own B1, MG deficiencies never start out like that here. if it did that without him giving the tea, i might suspect it. but since it happened right after tea application, i am safe to say they are happy as can be. imo at least.

I'm with Jay and Von on this, as I always saw similar response before I was forbidden to grow.
