Mist - Should I be? I have tried to pluck quite a few. I know they will release pollen, right?

Thundurkel - I think atleast a zip per plant - the biggest one maybe 2.
I got a philips lucalox I think it is - was $20-25

The back left plant is getting close to done by looks. :)

Yea, get them off the buds or you will get seeds. Some womens cuticle scissors work very good for that. They get right in there and cut the stalk on the male flowers without disturbing the buds. Can be had for real cheap at any walgreens, walmart etc..

I bought some thin tweezers for the last plant that had um. I will go at um next feeding - tomorrow. All the nanners on the outside are fresh green - they dont pollinate till they dry out - correct?

No, they polinate as soon as the flowers open up. If you see yellow flowers it is too late. If your are not having heat problems you might want to turn off any fans you have blowing on the plants. That way if a flower opens the polen will generally just fall straight down. With a fan blowing on it....:witch:.. I am sure you get the idea.

I'm not sure at all Hella - if clones do it then I blame my setup, if they don't I'll blame the seeds HAHA

 Good plan dude. I wouldn't think it's your set up... but I have heard some of these tents have some light leaks... but I wouldn't think it would be that big of an issue.

Or maybe you just have bad luck?

Regardless, you always get some dank lookin smoke.

I found the tents to not be 100% light sealed like they are advertised. Around all of the stictching there are tiny holes that could possibly be allowing light to seep into the tent when ur gals are in the dark, but again just a possibility. I had some naners on two of my girls last run and believe that to be the reason, as i left my veg cab open many times in the same room.

My tent has those little pin holes and when the lights are on and it is closed up you can see little specks of light here and there. But when the lights were off I got inside with a chair and zipped myself up and sat there for a half hour to let my eyes adjust and there were no specks of light visible anywhere on the tent. And I have a 4ft. 8 bulb T5 about 3 feet away on the outside now and still no light showing inside the tent.
You can't even see your hand 2" from your face it is so dark!
Give that a try if you have a tent and you will see what I mean. Hell, I open mine up during the dark cycle sometimes and take a few pictures and I haven't gotten any nanners on my plants ever.

I think I agree with Mist - Even from the outside I barely ever see light specs. And the room is mostly dark 24/7.

Ya know, the light leaks issue is an interesting one... I have always thought of it this way:

In nature, is cannabis not exposed to some light during darkness due to the moon? Using that logic, isn't it safe to assume the occasional exposure to light during it's dark cycle isn't that big of a deal? I would think even if the tents do leak a little light, it shouldn't be near enough to cause problems.

But I'll be the first to admit I don't know tons... and I'm getting this thread a little off topic now, haha.
