The law does say that if you are a minor, you will need parental consent and two doctors recommendations

However, you are not a minor, so your age will not prohibit you from becoming a patient, as long as you have a valid medical condition.

Caregivers must be over 21, simply because it takes a degree of responsibility to be in charge and in control of a patients medical well being.

You have no problem being a patient. As long as you have the medical condition.

The age limit, in that case, would be 18. If you were under 18 then you would have your parents as your caregiver.

If someone is trying to put you in as their caregiver, then you would need to be 21.

But it sounds like you are just trying to become a patient. If true you are set to go ..

so i know there arnt any collectives or anything in MI but is there any coalition of patients/growers around to help new patients get started. i only have one grow under my belt and while yes it was great bud, i know there was lots of room for improvement. basically im wondering if anybody would help me get started, yakno with known clones or seeds.

us MI med people should start a group that has meetings or sumthing

Michigan was one of our great triumph's this year. If you don't mind what is your condition?
We might be able to help with different strains.

close to WI ?

also, you should define your strain if growing your own medicine; maybe variety if helping others....

the BEST way to get in touch with the medical scene is to find out when the local compassion club is meeting. People have BEEN AWESOME up there setting up meeting and attending and keeping in touch with each other....

check you pm's.

alright great, i went over the paperwork 3 or 4 times sober to make sure it was done right. smoked a bowl of medical from a patient friend of mine and re-read it one more time and found a portion not filled in.. got it all done right and sent it in on wednesday. according to the paperwork i should be approved in 15 days but the doc said more like 2-6 weeks. owell itll be worth the wait.
