Where did you get that rooted?

If I am understanding your post correctly,
the right hand is arguing with the left hand over
what color socks to wear?
:yoinks:

It sounds like they are going to be stripping out all of the 'OR's in the definition of caregiver that the board gave at the last hearing. not sure that means that much as i think case law would always trump that anyway.
what's scary is the pace of change here....i hope the work-around comes quick too!!

I went to the meeting this morning. The room they choose to hold it in could only fit 60 people and a few hundred showed up. We stood in the lobby and listened in with cell phones on speaker. I cant believe they wouldn't even set up a PA or something so we could hear what was going on. Some jackass started playing music on the conference call so we missed some of it. I was told that everything is on freeze until December 16 when they will have another hearing. They wouldn't even let the news guy in there. Something fishy is going on here. Lots of people were disenfranchised today and the police didn't give two shits about that. We were told we could talk to the board members after the meeting was over but they just blew out of there and said they didn't have time to talk. These are our representatives ignoring us! I will be there early on Dec 16. I wouldn't be surprised if they tryed to pull the same bullshit again.

CO def needs to organize...we need to swamp that dec 16th hearing. Also need to come prepared to state an intelligent case. Im sure some of lawyers involved in this are working on just that right now. Some one on another thread came up with the great idea of a non-profit website to gather supporters and spread information. I think thats a good idea. But not sure on how to implement it.

This is the Board of Health web site http://www.cdphe.state.co.us/op/bh/ . The first link is a pdf explaining todays emergency meeting. There is also a board member roster. I will be emailing all of the members of the board about today's little shut out mishap. The minutes for today's meeting have not been posted yet.

Don't use your sweetener in the flush, you should use it up until the flush. In my experience when used in conjunction with the flush the herb takes on a lot of the flavor of the sweetener... what sweetener are you using? Imho sweet(the botanicare product) is over priced, when molasses or sugar cane natural will do the same thing.

Did you guys hear that Breckenridge decriminalized pot in the election today?

BRECKENRIDGE, COLORADO - The ski town of Breckenridge, Colorado, is the latest municipality to remove all penalties for private adult marijuana possession and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. As the Summit Daily reported:

Breckenridge residents voted overwhelmingly Tuesday to decriminalize possession of small amounts of marijuana and paraphernalia Tuesday under town law. In early returns, some 72 percent of voters approved the measure.
The vote means that, effective Jan. 1, people 21 and up in Breckenridge will be able to legally possess one ounce or less of the drug.

This is a noteworthy event in and of itself, but one has to wonder whether legal marijuana could be just what Colorado's slumping ski industry needs. Ski resorts are offering everything from large discounts to specialty cheeseburgers to attract people to their towns. Perhaps offering skiers and snowboarders a hassle-free environment in which they can relax and recreate with marijuana could do the trick.

As the organizers of the measure pointed out in their press release, the measure could also give extreme sports enthusiasts a safer alternative to alcohol when it comes to post-ride partying.

"This votes demonstrates that Breckenridge citizens overwhelmingly believe that adults should not be punished for making the safer choice to use marijuana instead of alcohol," said Sean McAllister, Breckenridge attorney and chair of Sensible Breckenridge.
After all, when's the last time you heard about a bar brawl breaking out because people got a little too stoned? Or a man becoming abusive with his wife because he had been out smoking pot? Chances are not very often, according to virtually every objective study ever done on marijuana and alcohol. Whereas alcohol has been found to contribute to aggressive and violent behavior, a link has never been established when it comes to marijuana.

It's too early to tell how the city's law enforcement officials will handle marijuana in light of the vote, but it's safe to say there is plenty of support behind letting marijuana consumers alone. As the presser mentioned:

The campaign, which had no formal opposition, received a chorus of local support including endorsements from Breckenridge Town Councilman Jeffrey Bergeron, Former Colorado State Representative and Breckenridge resident, Gary Lindstrom, and the Summit Daily News.

A question for those that flush for 10 days+

I have read a bunch of different strains develop excellent resin & triches as well as essential oils & aromas....In Their LAST WEEK.....
Does such a long flush not effect these things?

No the flush doesn't effect resin production, if anything a long flush will bring out a lot of flavor in the herb, while making it burn clean.

I don't see how this can be accomplished with an 8wk strain using GH Recirculate schedule.
Well, it can't if you follow the schedule, unless you let them go another week+.

Yeah, I don't follow nute schedules, I do what the eff I want, with good results. :) Seriously though, don't sweat it, just flush good, you'll be glad you did when your herb burns cleanly with no snap crackle pop from excess nutrient.

Yeah, I don't even follow the dosage schedule, I raise the PPM's up in flower until they start to show some small signs of burning then I back it off a little. I also use a hand held microscope to tell when to start flushing and when to cut em down. I like very milky tric's with a few amber ones in there but not total amber when cutting them down.
