New micro cab is finished!

New micro cab is finished!

Its move in day for the herd! Here are some final assembly pics:

Compressing the weatherstrip slightly with water jugs prior to installing the hinges.

Shooting in drywall screws to support shelving.

Sliding a drying rack into the light trap/drying chamber.
Dark in there, isn't it!

Bottom two toilet flanges are to connect flexible dryer vent to the passive intakes. Top one is the exhaust for the cab.

Here's the whole deal ready for...

You guessed right...oregano!

Just kidding...it's the "Herb Superb".

Now you see it...

Now you don't!

As for the plants...We moved from Florida a few years back and left all the old dope connections behind. So when I visit my Florida friends I ask for seeds. I have had bad luck germinating essentially old bagseeds and this time was no different. Only 6 out of 48 sprouted and the 3 were pretty anemic. Now for the kicker. I was having lunch a few weeks back at a picnic table in a local park and there to my amazement were 3 MJ seeds. They all sprouted and are the healthiest ones in the herd. So now I have nine plants of undetermined sex and I want to start a clone/bonsai mother room on the left side of my new cab. Question: should I take cuttings before I go to 12/12 or go to 12/12 and take cuttings after they show sex? Sounds like a rookie question but that's what I yam and that's all that I yam!

Grouchy...I checked out your NGB cab and really admire the recessed doors and the 70 watt hps. Looks like we have similar setups but I have the double light trap walls with a 4" center chamber. I had to have it all in one so I added Anti's idea. (I'm sure it was someone else's idea first...is there really any original thought or do we only reassemble all the old ones?) I digress...flower and then clone. I'm sure there's a good reason but I'm too stoned to ponder it! Thanks for the help.

like the looks of the new cab! i need to build me a cab :)
me too! everything looks great, you must really know what your doing. Finished build looks very professional great work! Btw i dont want to rain on you, i see your need for stealth. but you may want to consider ordering some seeds it seems to be quite safe.

If you enjoy the bagseeds you got you can just make your own seeds. There is no need to order if you don't feel comfortable. You should cross the seeds you found on the picnic table with the seeds you bring back from Florida. You could call it "Geriatric Picnic" or something like that.

He's really a "vampire squid sucking the face of humanity". Or maybe just a common domesticated house cat.

Update on my upgrade.

Update on my upgrade.

I've been raising up some bagseed and three unknown origin seeds I found on a park bench. They're about five weeks old and they went 12/12 about two weeks ago. Two popped balls and got chopped and today I tried my first ever cloning with some of the others. Looking for pre-flowers with a little hand held magnifier. Hoping for chicks, obviously.

Here's some pics...

Lined up waiting for a nip and tuck...

Cut then dipped in water...

Rolled in Rootone...

Buried above two nodes in
75% perlite, 25% vermiculite...
Ended up with three; two
bagseed and one parkbench.

Good temps...67-75...plants look happy...

Clones with a cover under
(2) 23 watt daylight cfl.

Seven remaining plants, hoping
like hell for girls and early - flowering
clone cuttings.

Flowering under (4) 23 watt warm white
and (1) 23 watt daylight cfl.

That’s all folks!

Excellent build! I like the small form factor. A nice hiding place you got there too.
Good luck getting ladies from your beans, may you get a good return on your well-spent time :joint:
