I would say the true ultimate strain is really a variety of good strains. Keeps you from getting tired of the taste and buzz so fast.

100% agree. This is probably the most accurate response you will recieve.
you can, and will, get tired of any smoke if you have no variation. no matter how good it is.

Yeah, Disco is right. If you eat Oreo (the 'Ultimate' cookie) everyday, eventually you never want to eat them anymore. Variety is the spice of life.

This is in fact inaccurate. I have eaten thousands of Milk's favorite cookie and have yet to find the point of diminishing returns.
do you eat them everyday, and to the exclusion of all other cookies?
Is this simply a cash crop question or actually trying to locate a great smoke?
If it is cash crop then get something with the word kush in it and possibly purple then talk about how it was crossed with some pre-2000 cut that was found floating on a board in the atlantic.
If it is for primo smoke (most usually are lower yielders) then I would write down what you like about herb and toss that info on here.

honestly, i usually dont contribute to threads asking about strains...
but Blueberry skunk by flying dutchmen is a GREAT STRAIN... its fast, it produces, it tastes, it stones and the FD'S really did a good job with it...
ive been watching a fellow grower in the area knock it out with this strain... its a huge hit around the block - luckily i was able to get me a cut...
also, I agree with hammerhead - bog's LSD is great... anything BOG was always great tasting bud in my book... and the super fast finishing times make his gear as good as gold... far beyond triple A (haha)rez dog's hyped gear...
another notable strain that isn't talked much about is "MAGIC BUD" by paradise seeds.... the stuff is super dense, finished quick, and has a great taste and knock out stone... i watched one jackass of a grower produce some excellent magic bud...
oh yes, but not let me forget the strain "fuckingincredible - by VISC" .... i also recently obtained a cut of VERTIGO (fuckingincredible x blackberry) AND I CANT WAIT TO FLOWER THE SHIT OUT!
but hey, everyone has their own opinion...
the only guy who could really tell you what the ultimate strain is is the guy who has smoked THEM ALL... and truthfully, i dont think there is a soul who has...

The "Ultimate" will depend on what you want to feel.
there are one toke knockout indicas and speed substitute sativas. there are a lot that have very different effects - all depends on what you are looking for.

well i do know something about that,not gone dumpster diving blind with my pants down and my head first

so i do know that to get that inspiring energetic high it is a sativa that i need and from what i have read with Mexican genetics? but i have to admit that i am still processing the influence of genetics on high is is quite a mess in my head right now. I have read that basicly: F13, mexican haze, satori, citrus or from cros breeding that satori x mexican haze or mexican haze x cindy would nicely fit the bill...

i am looking for a inspiring, mild (not overpowering buzz) with a smooth smoke, fruity taste is that even possible? or am i asking for to much?
i am willing to do some breeding in order to achieve that goal.
I would direct you towards Dutch Passion's power plant. First time trying powerplant was of california import and the citrus smell with the sativa buzz was enough to make my friend and I secure some beans for ourselves.
Ultimate depends on the view of the individual. Some smoke for taste, some for the high, some to go to sleep and some to stay awake. I would have to agree on variety.
