GHS...have some great seeds...and yes the GHS bashers as always it gets old grow what you like...you will find some good beans...dont listen to the haters..I had horribble luck with Mr-nice seeds and a awful female to male ratio...on the other hand I have never had any trouble with hermies on any of the fems from GHS...try the ones you like and make your own decision...no breeders are perfect thats for sure......peace

SG do you consider yourself unbias? You seem quite the opposite while Ive grown GHS im no cheerleader more than happy to say the one white rhino fem Ive grown I wasnt impressed with but overall very happy with the company. The church yielded great for me tasted great and worked great finished fast with a mix of sativa and indica bud formation taste and effect. A great hybrid imo. I should say though recently been some reports about bad germination. Can get these for 18$ a 5 pack of fems though so if your willing to risk it and Id scuff them.

GHS strains are hit and miss. Very unstable over all from my experience with them. If you plant 5 seeds from the same pack you will have 5 completely different looking plants most of the time. I have grown both WR and BB from GHS. Overall I would recommend you go with a different breeder like DNA, Serious, Rez or Paradise, BUT if you are absolutely going to decide between those two I would suggest BB if you are more concerned with yield and WR if you want to lean towards quality. Both are fairly bitchy strains to grow though and you should just learn from the mistakes of others and buy from a stable breeder who doesn't spend millions on marketing.

Would you go to target and ask the people inside the store what they think of it? Or would you ask the people outside the store, in the shopping complex, what they think of it?
Of course you're going to get some biased opinions either way, but you're chances of getting unbiase oppinions is much higher outside of the store.
This is all I was trying to say.

I am waiting on Shanti to release the Rhino aka Medicine Man......this was the strongest shit we could get our hands on in the late nineties and the clone from these seeds got to epic status, even sold under a few different names. Real heavy hitter with a super creeper effect. Smoke a few bowls and you think its not that strong 5 minutes later you will be sleeping. haha The more seeds you grow from whatever company the better chance you have of finding a keeper. 2c

Yup, White Rhino was legendary back in the day. It was my favorite strain for a solid year while my buddy was growing it in college. Haven't found any Rhino since that compared to what was going around back in the 90s...

The GHS stuff was in the ballpark, but no home run. Then again, maybe I'm just a crappy grower...

GHS Big Bang is great, my friends love it too. Dreamy weed they say
So far it is the best strain I grew. Nice fruity taste, Relaxing, Dreamy and puts all your focus on a single thing. Also makes me very creative, gives me insane ideas but a second later I don't even remember what I was thinking. lol. Good stuff. The only problem is it's kind of weak but since I've got plenty to go around it's not really a problem. =)

Growing Nebula and LSD at the moment, lets see if they're better

i've grown outdoors big bang, white shark, widow, a.m.s and himalaya and big bang is worst of them, inferior. have a bud pic but not on this comp.

harvested b bang and shark at mid october this year and in comparision bbang is realy shity , while shark is dank. bbang has uninteresting dull stone.

you'll find what you need at seedboutique or seedbay, just few klicks away.

i'll say get a pack of ghs seeds, maybe some colour mix pack and a pack of other breeder,
grow it out and you'll see how the things stand.

btw. reading icmag (all the shit about originality etc. of mrnice and ghs) brought me away from buying ghs beans to mrnice in 06 or 07, i bought medman and it was dead seeds, then i got replacment- 2 packs, again dead seeds, but meanwhile i
had a pack of ghs seeds in pocket as i had strange feeling about replcment packs
and finally i got some bud.. it was ghs himalaya. that lead me to try/buy more ghs seeds
and i'm happy with quality of bud. ghs has a place in my guerilla garden.

Hey at least Shanti will replace beans no matter where you live, GHS will simply weasel out of it by saying "you must not have germed them right." or "Sorry, we cannot ship seeds to the USA."
And on a side note you probably got very old stock if none of the beans germed, all the stock at Seedbou is fairly new.

dead seed meant zero bud, even if i had 51 seeds. simple.

and on a side note i must tell you, that i'll buy some of MrNice white gear, when it comes out fresh again.. but this old stock was sold everywhere. go research forums, year, two years back, his helpdesks were full of germination issues with his classic strains, not this fairly new croses.
