I recently popped a 10 pack of these beans. 9 out of 10 germinated I got a bit impatient at about 5 maybe 6 weeks and started flowering them to sex. 7 females and 2 males was the results. Ive taken one female and am keeping it as a possible mother plant stuck it back in veg. I plan to pollinate atleast one female for a good supply of skunk 1 for future pojects.

Right now they are very early flowering not much to look at but as they develop Ill update this thread.

600hps and 400mh I swap plants around once I start flowering depending on size of grow normally use the 400 mh to start vegging out the next round.

Wht do you normally veg for when you don't get impatient!!

I've just done my longest veg yet at 5 weeks and am quite happy with the results.....so far.

I really like going till pistils are out on preflowers before flowering. I had one female I wanted to use as a mother so flowering her then trying to reveg her may add some interesting effects. Maybe itll be like monster cropping we will see. She got flowering pretty good before I stuck her back under 24 hr light no sign of nanners so Im happy. Looked like to me these skunk 1s was gonna get pretty huge before I had clear signs of sex so went ahead with flowering early. Some strains Ive had will preflower quite quick and others seem to want to get quite large. From what I read in Jorges book I believe when preflowers are out the plant is sexually mature flowering before that is forced flowering and adds a bit of stress.

I wil see how my current grow goes height wise then up my veg next time. I suppose I'll keep upping my veg until my space can't cope with it. I run veg alongside flower aswell so can go upto 9 weeks.

Good luck with your grow.

Well decided to update before work today. Here is a few pics of the girls. One of each on one cycle. Each girl seems to have a slightly different look (pheno). They all smell quite fruity unfortunately. While fruity is nice was really looking for the RKS. However they are frosting up quite nicely.

Hey bro,

This plant was my favorite to grow. I haven't tried it yet though but mine is done curing.

I made shure not to harvest that early so I could get those red hairs. There's TONS of hairs hehe..

You can see pics if you click on my sig.

The plant takes really well to topping and yields much more than an indica like NL #5.

The only thing is that SK#1 just ins't in demand and not well respected by the community. People seem to like OG Kush, Bubba Kush, Sour D, Chemdog D and those sorts of strains. The hard part is finding the seeds hehehe...

Sometimes people dont know what they are missing Crush. I love the taste and flavor of a good skunk girl. Still looking for a good road kill but should have a decent amount of seedstock after this little project to work with.

Shots of the girls lower nuggage.

very nice ... I was given 2 super skunk seeds and 2 mango seeds from a friend who ordered them and I got one female super skunk flowering at the moment...other seedling was male so put outside and collected pollen and used on lower branches of the femal so I got like 10 or so seeds happening.I grew a mango strain that was hermie but I used its pollen on the super skunk female as well on one lower branch.

Hopefully my skills grow with this lense and I can get some good shots.

hey man, i'm running some skunk #1 as well, i'm just wondering where yours are from (breeder) ?

mine are from that sketchy breeder "G13 Labs" ... seems to be attitude seeds brain child. i wish i knew more, it's a stunning plant.

peace, sg
