I was very offended. I have many rats and their cages or nests are much neater than that....

Same as Drift13 for me. Only I started growing mine back out in 2001. My hair was shoulder length when I joined the AF and I had to cut it short for 20+ years. Haven't cut it in the last 12 but it pretty much stays about shoulder length anyway (plus, it's much thinner than it was when I was 18). My theme song these days is Almost Cut My Hair.

Mines almost down to my waist. If I pull the longest bits straight, I can touch my belt with it.... Lazy Mofo. A few natural dreads underneath. Now it's got this long, I really hate the idea of cutting it.
At the end of the day, the bald is strong on both sides of my family, so I'm making hay while the sun still shines.

Now If only I could grow a beard.

Grey head hairs I can deal with(only got a few), but those grey pubes really fucking sneak up on you don't they.

Ha, I finally cut mine. With my receding hairline it was quite a sight looking in the mirror in the morning. Kind of a cross between Larry from the Three Stooges and David Crosby (oh the irony). Got tired of scaring myself one morning and pulled out the scissors.
