High Yielding Strains!

I'm wondering what the highest yielding strain people have grown is.
From what I can see, most plants that people I know grow yield about the same, with varying time frames (EG. a 12 week plant gives up the same as a 10 or 7 week plant when you work out the G/Per watt/Per week)
Has anyone grown something which consistently destroys the expected yield, which I would say is 12-15oz per lamp for a 7 weeker, 15-20oz per lamp for a 10 and 20-24oz per lamp for a 12 weeker?

It depends on a lot of factors such as the enviorment you're growing them in, the nutes you're using, how long you veg for, and i believe most important is the grower knowledge with the strains.

My buddy and i both had GDP and they gave a good yield but they do require a lot of veg time.

Is the OG from seed the same as the one you get from cut? I could get the seeds, but don't see anyway of getting the cutting

We dont get that much seeds over here, we have a circle of friends in this hobby that trade cuts. Yes the OG k were a cut.

wellllll in gang circles it means "Original Gangster" ..as in "old timer"

but it could be different in this case... I'm not actually sure :) ... "original grower" maybe?

You can't tell me you haven't heard of OG Kush before? Pretty legendary strain.

I go by the "Original Gangster" meaning for the OG as well.

It's clone only though.

Do you know which Widow it was (the seed company) as there is so many about!

I'm not sure which company it was, because I picked it up at Harborside in Oakland. It might of been Dutch Passion, because they had a strain book there with DP's descriptions of various strains.

It's been my experience that some strains that will yield decently as smaller plants, will destroy other strains if it can veg longer... and some that show no difference if grown longer.

For example, widow is ok when done as a sea of green... but if you tree of green them they will yield enormous amounts. On the other hand, something like a rhino I'll see no difference in yield per month of veg.

Haze is another strain that will yield amazingly well if allowed to become a monster, but will be piss poor grown as a little bush. But I would not recommend it due to long flowering times.

Widow.

Clone from the widow above.

If you're growing trees, go with Widow you will not be sorry.

If growing sea of green/small bushes go with AK47 or OG.
