If you have em' set in a 32 oz cup you can do four a square foot , i do this if i sog it. unless you are doing it with a pure sativa that grows while flowering, i suggest you to fill all your space available with every clone you can get ,it pays...
healthy looking roots bro.:woohoo::witch2: got to love SOG

Hi Elito...
I did sog on a 3x3 tray with 23 plants. 2.5 plants/sf or thereabouts. Depends on the strain you use and if you're planning on lollypop pruning. Sounds like fun...

my table is 4x7.2 feet, can i put 4 clones per sq foot that would be about 100-115 clones would that be to crowded

depends a lot on what strain you are gone grow, and as eviltwin said before also depends on how much work you plan on putting in it. it will be crowded, but since you will be putting them straight from rooting they shouldnt get monster size so i would say give it a shot.

for a true sog..i would use a either ebb and flow with hydroton...or drip fed coco coir run to waste....using 5*5 square pots....place 4 per square pot..under a 600 watt lgiht..you can easily fit 36 plants..or if you truly wanna push it put 49...6*6 or 7*7 pots...

using a good sog strain, and good tehcnique. flowered as soon as they root, with maybe 5 days of veg...each plant will produce 15 grams MINIMUN...make the math 540 - 735 DRY GRMAS PER LGIHT...

Elito...
That could be a little crowded, but truthfully I don't understand your system. Never even heard of a DWC sog.

Mine was an E&F growing in hydroton like 2pac suggested. I got a bit over 300 grams with a 400hps and my tray really was only 31" square (inside dimensions).

on the first picture u can see a diy ebb and flow table that i made,on the second picture u can see the same tipe table just not finished so the pink stirodur board with the holes marked is intende to cover it and hold the small pots for the rooted clones, thats the plan, the table is 8 iches deep is that deep enough for the roots

OK Elito...
I see what you're doing. Since the roots can expand laterally, I don't see a problem with depth. You're trying to get away from cleaning hydroton, aren't you? lol

elito,
I ran 3 E&F trays (3x3) for a few years. I used small pots filled with hydroton. Yes...it was a minor hassle cleaning hydroton, but not that bad.

The reason I gave up the trays is that I grew weary of all that cloning.

Are you sure you're not just trading one unsavory task for another? You'll be taking up space and lights keeping clone mothers. I could get an average of 25 cuttings at a time off my clone mommas and you're talking about way more then that. You'll need 3 or 4 Mommas for each strain and then enough cloning area to root all those cuttings.

I'm not trying to dissuade you. Just bringing up some points for you to consider if you haven't already.

i got a 400w mh for the mothers and a table for the clones witch is 3x6feet,for the clones i got it covered i can make bubble cloners cheap so 200 sites is no problem, can u advise me on how many mother plants would i need in what size pots using a ebbe and flow to be able to pull about 80-100 clones a week

I've always kept clone Mommas in dirt. So this is sort of guesswork. Recovery from having cuttings taken would be faster in hydro. So if you grew in 1 gallon pots and had three Mommas for each strain...you'd be able to get the 100 cuttings. I'd say two weeks minimum recovery time. So three sets of Mommas...9 Mommas total. 12 would be better. And each set of three could be a different strain.

One problem is that classic SOG strains aren't very branchy. Yet for a clone Momma, you want a branchy plant. So the Mommas will need care and training to get them to produce well for you. Luckily cutting clones off a plant tends to make them branchier.

Like I said...this is speculative thinking.

PS: And you're going to need way more then 400w. Double that and you should be OK.
