canna pk 13/14

i just purchased my first bottle of pk 13/14. decided to try out the canna brand name so many use here. quick question. anything i should know about the stuff??? tips on it? or what not. thanks

this is very important in this phase of flowering but unnecessary after 1 weeks worth of feedings

i just got my bottle, i applied 2 days ago.....within a day in a half i could see nice growth on my crowns.....it seems to be doing the trick.

however, my question is, why only apply for 1 week!? that seems like crazy talk to me. it even says it on the bottle. i uve used a shitload of Kool Bloom in the past. whats the (real) difference?

Same position I'm in, only 1 week???? Seems like not enough right??

Some people are saying use all the way through flower, or start on weeks later than week 3....Are you guys just making up your own schedule and it works?? Becuase yes on the bottle it says ONLY week 3, ONLY 1 week......

I'd like to hear from some one who has experience trying to use it both ways....Anyone??

Oh and I'm not trying to bash anyone at all, it just seems that were all confused on the usage of PK 13/14 myself very much included.

hmmm who knoes caligreen.....i suppose its ok to experiment. Floranova has a high ratio of PK to N, so??? i lowered my dose to 3 ml and i threw 5 mL PK1314 in there. its an effective way to lower N and keep PK the same or increased a little.

considering large amounts of phosphorus / potassium are applied every week of flower for everyone!?, i dont really see why the bottle would say apply for 1 week only. it also contridicts the typical nutrient company, telling you to use less?!?! whaaaaa.....theres got to be a reason.

not sure why it says that on the bottle...just started flowering 2 weeks in and will run a control test with the pk and we'll see what happens.i'm not the most scientific guy but ill try to be as thorough as possible.im really interested to see the results.have 3 clones of some excellent bagweed that would fit the bill nicely.

canna pk13/14 us developped to be used in combination with regular bloom nutes or organics or whatever.

these already have n p and k's in the right proportion.

Canna pk 13/14 has a pretty high dose of p and k. 3 weeks before harvest is the phase where the plant can really use the extra P and K. And this is when pk13/14 should be used.

Be sure NOT to use it too often only one week 3 times.

if you give it from the beginning untill the end you will have a wonderful resukt with fat buds that will smoke very harsh.

Since i stopped using pk 13/14 i can already smoke my buds when they are very fresh without too much coughing.

i reall feel pk13/14 made for a harsher smoke , but it does give a very good result.

Last year i used pk 13/14 like some of you suggest , so from beginning to end(with flush) and i had the harshest weed i ever smoked , so harsh in fact that i haven't touched my 2008 harvest since may 2009.

now the bottle is in the bin

I too picked up a bottle of it. I grow in soil so I do not use a reservoir. How much pk 13/14 should be applied per gallon of water? The bottle does not give this break down. Thanks!

Mine doesnt say either I dont think....But I'll check it out....

THC-How could one nutrient be the result of harsh buds??? I would think if you flushed well at the end of harvest there would be no residue of any nutrient left in the plant.....Perhaps when using pk 13/14 the medium needs to be flushed more thoroughly? Hmmm

Sorry if i'm digging up an old topic but i have used PK 13/14 for my last two grows and i myself am wondering if i should feed more next run than the bottle says. The times i have used it in the past, i just followed the directions and fed it to them for a week. It did seem to make my buds swell up even more, though they were already very big colas as it was so i don't have any scientific data or anything.

I'll probably try feeding them for 2-3 weeks next time and see if it makes any difference. I don't see how it can hurt to use more than the Bottle says. Like most of you have stated, alot of other nutrients have high amount of P and K as well.

Cali- I agree, i don't think the PK 13/14 is what caused the Harsh Buds either. It's no different than tons of other flowering nutrients, as long as the plants were properly flushed i don't think it would cause the bud to become any more harsh. I'm no expert though, so what do i know?

I used PK 13/14 during week 5 last run and the calyxes got real fat during week 6.

This time I am experimenting and started with 1ml per gallon during week 3, 2ml during week 4, and now 5ml for week 5.

Dunno what I'm going to do for week 6 yet. Probably 5ml per gallon again.
