which hydro system?

I'm not a med grower (from texas) but I thought the 24 plant limit only counted towards mature plants in most states?

I am in Canada, a Federal Health Canada exemption holder, we also have plant count limits on our gardens.
I am not familiar with American medical rules, other than that they are not really recognized by your federal government.
I just assume when he says he has a plant limit he means he is growing for medical purposes...6000w is way beyond a medical grow tho!

Good luck.

I have a 24 plant limit so 6000 KW is perfect. 4plants per light ka-blam!
6 plants mature per person, I grow for 4 = 24 mature plant @ 6000KW

there is no hydro system there is only AUTOPOTS
super easy, eliminates alot of things like work
futuregarden dot com carriers them

yes you can grow monsters in them

If you are looking to grow large yielding trees then to hell with the ebb and gro and/or those waterfarm style drip buckets. You'll get OK results with those. But if you would rather drive a Cadillac than a Pontiac, get a recirculating DWC system like the Under Current or build one yourself that uses a similar design.

If you're looking to run 6k lights, then you should run two of the 12xls. Best hydro system on the market.

Here are some links for ya:

And there is also a web forum called THC farmer that has a really good thread on this system. You might find one here too, I haven't checked.

Cheers and goodluck! Send me a link to your grow journal if you choose this system.

Hello there. I would go with a UC. The growth is faster than anything I've ever seen this is 7 days of veg:witch2::joint:.peace

They look like 5-7 gallon buckets with 2"+ pipe between them, DWC but instead of each one getting it's own in and out lines they feed from one to the next to the next until it returns to the res.

Interesting, I haven't seen a UC setup before. I guess it's just as effective as RDWC, it's the same setup just a different organization of the pipes. I'll bet those huge in/out lines allow for even more water movement than most RDWC.

i do trees in 5 gallon buckets vscrog. i like 5 gal top feed drip in this set up. ive personally seen 1-2 pound plants in 5 gal buckets supercrooped. they take up space and grow long, but the roots got massive space, good luck, d

NICE!

YUP! I did heavy research on the UC for myself a while back and found pics of people pulling 4lb+ plants using this system in conjunction with bare vertical bulbs. I ultimately decided to go back to hand watered organic soil for personal reasons, but if I ever decide to return to hydro I will build/buy a system like this one!

I read it more closely, looks like 8 gallons per container and it's a little different than what I initially pictured in that it sucks water through the visible white pipes and pushes it back to the res through the smaller, center black pipe.

It's almost a cross between NFT or channel flowing hydroponics and RDWC.

Everything costantly moves with the help of a non submers pump. The growth is amazing, and I've been in dirt for 6 years now and switched everything due to growth rates. Hydrosun's thread inspired me. PEACE:joint::witch2:

How do you feel about the quality of the smoke? I've been running the aeroflo systems for the last year and was going to upgrade to an UC, but decided to go back to organic soil for quality/taste/overall health.
