Hey all.

I am 13 days in to flower right now and using PBP Bloom, Liquid Karma, Sweet and Superthrive.

I went to my hydro store today and was asking what bloom enhancer I should use, they told me they just got Hydroplex in for the first time and suggested I use it cause I am running all the other PBP products.

They gave me a gallon for FREE!!!

Told me to report back with some info on how it was.

Anybody used it?
When should I start? Stop?
How much?

Any info would help

Any details on the label?

Any chance I can convince you to drop the superthrive and go organic? I don't want to try if I have no chance.

its not organic but it is an excellent bloom booster

you are so close to an organic regiment, i would be interested in your organic alternatives as maryjohn suggested

i'm curious myself to know what is an alternative since i like PB & PBP

My 2 cents:

Organic superthrive = alfala meal solution (eg. tea).

A.meal solution contains "triacontanol", a PGR (Plant Growth Regulator) which effects roots and is the main ingredient in superthrive. Another bonus is the a.meal solution will feed microbes too. Strain out the a.meal, I soak in a nylon and put air hoses directly into the bag within the a.meal, along with infusing sir into the water (not trying for ACT so DO isn't a concern).

2. I would try to convince you to drop PBP, its not fully organic. Besides, you are lacking necessary calcium which is lacking in PBP bloom. You need to add "cal-mag plus". Are you using the "soil" version? Please realize, the guy who spread the "lucas formula", lucas, did extensive testing and found the correct usage of PBP so yield is the same as that as his mentor's ("pH") famous[/] formula (mis-termed "lucas formula"). Lucas no longer posts online, except very occasionally at C-W, and more often at a Spanish forum (to my understanding). Please see this thread at C-W for all the PBP info you could ever use. Page one has the relevant info from Lucas:

Lucas formula:
GH flora grow-micro-bloom = 0-8-16

3. And I would also definitely suggest you drop the sweet, I have used it and wouldnt do so again. Please see this thread of mine:
"Carbs: A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing (warn)"
https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=141813

4. And lastly, I *highly* suggest against adding bloom boosters. IMO they are crap and plants do not work that way: more food does not equal more growth. Please see the "Ask Lucas" thread for much more info and data on this topic.

Also, superthrive should not be used regularly. And used in small quantity at 1-2 drops per gallon.

However, I have found, as have others, that continual use of superthrive can reduce the aroma of cannabis can be reduced in later flowering.

I will cut Super Thrive today. I have to say, it is the best additive in the world IMHO.

It makes plants and roots explode. It revives dead plants so much faster than without it. a MUST have through the veg stage.
