Meet your Meat. Video in video section.

More people need to watch this.

I've watched some messed up videos on the internet in my time, I thought it couldn't get worse than 1 guy 1 jar. Then I watched some beheading videos, okay that was bad.

But this...this is in a class amongst itself.

The amount of dread, horror, and sorrow this video captures is truely astronomical.

The fact that the only thing these animals did to be treated like this was to BE BORN.
That really gets to me.

If you can watch this and still be hungry for some animal products, I'd like to meet you.

P.S. The fact that information like this has been made public, and there Isn't a fucking MOB is shocking to me.

Guess it'll only matter when it moves on from sheep being slaughtered to sheeple.

I worked in a meat dept aswell, in a stater brothers.

Showed me just the tip of the ice berg.

Had workers who would drop meat in all sorts of sludge and still package it up and sell it.

Truely a disgusting edible.

i dont give a FUCK!!!

Yea, that isn't completely obvious.

Your one of those people who would eat shit if they found a way to make it taste good eh?
I was one of those people lol... Im working on it tho.

Stop treating them like shit, and keep eating the hell out of them. Factory farming sucks. It sucks that we might have to pass laws that essentially boil down to "basic humanity 101, please comply," but we do.

Organic, farm raised meat is great, and great for ya.

I don't agree with veganism as a moral choice either, but why call a man a bitch over it? Add to the fact that you did it behind a monitor and it's more egregiously lame.

Smoke an indica or something, dude.

It's been proven that the world cannot sustain a carnivourus human population. I know we're not soley carnivourus, but the average industrialized diet consist of mostly meat and refined grain products. This kind of diet is not healthy for reasons beyond the scope of this thread at it's current time.

Even if we all switched to prairy raised meat. it would be to costly and time consuming and wasteful to make it effiecient enough to feed a world population like we have now. Even the manufactured meat industry is having problems meeting the demands.

Truely, the only way to sustain our population is by taking all that land used to grow feed and house the animals, to grow feed for US.

Animals are obsolete tools to us now, but they still have they're places on the farm and in our lives.

Tip for gogo, sarcasm doesn't translate well over the internet.

why won't the market fix this on its' own as the problem gets more severe over time? Less room for it, more money, less meat eaters. The push towards genetically modified plants that can grow faster and feed more people is a pretty rapidly expanding enterprise. So I'm not sure I see a need for anybody to take action from this point of view. If you've got the time I'd be more than happy to hear where I'm going wrong in my thinking. Thanks.

Umm, meat. Since this is the topic, has anyone tried a nice Kobe filet? Grilled a couple the other night, melts in your mouth like butter.(Homer J. drool)

There is another called Wagu(sp?) ,harder to find. Couldnt justify $150 for a 6oz steak even though I was up.(Vegas)

Go Meat!

Cheers

Never had it. I'm jealous.

My beef strategy is to wait until whole tenderloins go on sale and then freeze em. I'm pretty broke and eat filet mignon pretty regularly because I do this. Cheaper than crappy cuts.

Movingtocally, That is a good point!

It seems that every turn humans make towards wordly balance is a wrong one. I believe the problem with GM'd crops stems from the fact that they are patentable, even though nothing original has been made. Monsanto and the likes have patents on some of the genes that make us who we are.

They own our genetics. How is that right?

GM'd crops pose not-so-obvious threats to alot of farmers who are still very skeptical. There are more movements out about this than about animals rights it seems. The latter seem to be making less headway.

Even though GM'd crops are a growing enterprise, it isn't going to replace the meat and dairy industry, not unless they figure out how to grow tri-tips on cornstalks.

I wouldn't put it past them!

The powers that be, according to UN's agenda 21, plan on taking care of the population problem another way.

Wait for your TV to blow up with the word SUSTAINABLE.

And about kobe-wagu beef.
Ha, I've always wanted to try that stuff.

Those cows live the fucking life!

so you guys would rather eat genetically modified plants ( which contain genes spliced from everything from trout to raccoons and which are given almost no time or research to see if they are safe for human consumption) than meat which has been one of our first and foremost staples...and Capn how you gonna say that humans arent made to eat meat... we're monogastrics for a reason buddy.. we've been adapted to eating meat for thousands of years prior to our eating grains and other complex starches... man haha man... oh yea im a farmer so i guess im evil and if i catch you guys i might make ya into some scrapple or maybe a hog maul haha

EAT MEAT ITS NATURAL AND GOOD FOR YA
(and it pays my bills haha)

^ LOL ^

The way factories raise and process meat is definitely disgusting...

BUT having killed and skinned/gutted deer myself, the actual process of refining meat from an animal is not disgusting.

It's not a reason to stop eating meat altogether, just because of the contents of a PETA film of the worst examples they could find!
