I think you will find that most Law Enforcement are against smoking pot. Now that Obama has stated he doesn't think med users should be prosecuted, you can bet they are going to look at different angles to attack the system.

Some people have probably told them that they got a certificate and nothings wrong with them. It's obvious the cop wanted to see how easy it is and I'm sure he didn't do it just for the hell of it....

Hostility?? lol!! There is a big difference between hostile and straight forward--
No, I was not talking about the State Card...that is a waste of $$...IMHO--
It is worthless in Court...your Rec is what they look at-- Been there, done that--

So whom are you giving the 80$ to the Doctor? I have had x rays blood work many many apt 0$(I have no med insurance).

Yes...you go in, pay the Dr...get interviewed/checked out...then you get your renewal-- I have never heard of a Free Clinic giving a Recommendation for Cannabis-- That is great if they do it!!

You are very correct. I am glad someone pointed this out.

Are these the same people that issue the cards like meddicann? That's what they do there you see a doc he says why do you want to use MMJ you tell him your story and he gives you his rec. When you exit his Office The guy there gives you a booklet with your rec it it with some other stuff and then they take your pic and send you a card in the mail.

What im talking about is going to a free clinic(you have to qualify first before they will except you) where I go for example you talk to him he looks at your med records he see's all the meds you have taken or are still takin you then ask I would lke a rec for MMJ so I dont have to take Morhine (or other meds thata are bad for ya) anymore or allot less then before he will talk about what he thinks and give you your rec free. I did the same thin in Oregon the problem with Oregon is the state has a card law there and is run by the dept of public health. They take your rec and send you your grow doc that you post at the grow and a card you carry with you (the state charges 100$ to file your paper work). If you use a pot doc it will cost you something. If you go to a Free clinic or have a doc you can get the rec for free.

Genius. I always figured I'd have to pay medicann $90 every year for my renewal, but now I'll just go to the free clinic.

I can't believe I never thought of that before or that I haven't read about it here before.

That is cool they do that...really!!
But thankfully there are the "Pot Docs" for those of us who don't have medical files-- I have no documentation of my back problems...have never been seriously injured, nor do I have a debilitating disease... I have an old back, that has seen too much use--
But my main reason is that weed is my Methadone...it has helped keep me off heroin for 13 years now-- There are a lot of ppl like me, so yeah....glad there are Pot Docs--

I was recently told that its not required to renew you're scrip(as it says nothing about it in sb420) , and that the valid for a year thing is only put there by the docs as a way to make money.

Ever hear of a pharmacy getting busted for filling a 'fake' oxycodone script? I've read about a number of doctors that have been arrested for writing them, but never heard of a pharmacy busted for filling one.

I lived in Napa for 15 years (moved out just before that dispensary opened.) Napa cops are ridiculous, they are very strict and want nothing more than to keep the rich winery owners happy. If that means arresting everyone for weed then they'd be glad to. There are more than enough Napa cops, they are everywhere and very active. I'll be curious to see if any charges are filed, the DA is pretty overworked (like most counties.)

what I find funny about this is that Napa is the largest producer of wine in the USA and they want to bust pot smokers. typical LEO bullshit
