Yeah, lets get the topic back on track. Heres and update of my haze, she has about 1 and 1/2 months left to go. She's happy by herself in the greenhouse. She's bent over at a 90 degree angle. 16 foot long and 10 foot wide. Cant tell from the pics, but shes super frosty already.

Thanks ReservationLabs. I've grown a lot of strains but this is my first time growing Haze. Never did like the idea of 4 to 6 months of flowering. I'm going to try more strains from many different seed banks and see which strain I like best. When are we going to get an update on your current project?

You know how it goes in the Seedling and Veg stages there really isn't much to show. I do have one plant that is coming out a lot more Sativa/HAZE looking then the others. It is strange because as a tiny seedling I almost culled it, now it is turning out to be what I was looking for in all of the seeds. Just goes to show you never know what your going to get until you grow it all the way through.

I will get a pic soon. I just want to give them a tiny bit more time before I go in there with a camera. Make it a small bit worth it, lol.

Looks like out of all the seeds that I sowed, I am only going to have 1 male to work with, I think all the other ones are going to be female. Doesn't do anything to add strenght or diversity to the project (only having one single male to choose from) but we will have seed of a backcross and that was the goal and the important thing.

I will attempt to get pics on Monday or Tuesday.

It seems like that after I posted that the HAZE that I was given by the family up in the Northern California Hills wasn't turning out to be the thin fingered most pure Sativa looking plants on the planet that this thread lost interest, lol. Well the smoke as stated in the original post that started this thread is amazing and I will complete my goal of back crossing this line.

Ugh, I grew a 14 week Dr. atomic NL x Haze in a greenhouse last year. Waste of time .. I could not handle it. I use weed to relax not go on a trip that stuff scared me and made my heart pound like crazy.

I found a couple of fairly hazy examples in a hybrid that's only 25% haze

Pics are up in my signature-journal, but its Master Kaze from MNS (MasterKush x Skunk #1) x (Afghan Haze).

several of the testers are finding some more indica dominant plants....on the flip side, my earliest finisher was 65 days, and two are still going now....one at 81 days and one at 88 days....theyve still got at least 2 more weeks.

stretch was out of the world on these two....probably 4x-6x the size they were upon entering flowering.

seems that the haze genes can be very dominant.

would you use a male and pollinate some choice females..

The females I am looking to pollinate with Haze pollen are:
Casey Jones
C-99 f2-GNO3
ISS-Federation
NHS-Mr Nice

or use a female haze and cross these plants using the male pollen(from the list)

in your opinions..which would give a better haze cross???

I would use c99 or iss or casy Jones. any one of these would do good .i am getting ready to do a veg of super silver haze from the freebie from seedbay . and take clones and root them and start to veg them till ready to put out in spring time. should finish up sooner then the seed plant. i am going to plant it in a big planter that trees come in at the nursery. i know it will get root bound but i do not want it to get to big.

Update. This girl has about another 4 to 6 weeks left. The amount of bud on this one plant is really amazing considering how much time she has left. She will hit 3 pounds easily.


She smells like thyme with a hint of musk, not flowery at all.

Yeah what bigherb said. And yes her colas are filling in nicely.

As far as mine. My 1 single male is already like 3ft or 4ft tall with the root system extremely restricted. I don't have the room for him so I am hoping that he will drop me some pollen that I can save for the females and give him the chop before he turns into a 6ft or 7ft monster.

The females are a lot shorter and their leaves are getting more and more thin as they Mature. I will get some photos next Monday and update.
