WAM"...i only used one auto mtf male, so all the auto mtf ladies were inbred, and the rest was outcrossed, so auto indi x auto mtf etc..."

A good variety of auto genetics in the mix there, you could see some hybrid vigour in some plants. I'd be up for trying a few of those auto beans if you have some left over... ;)

Though now you mention autoBiddy, I remeber I have some f2s from Yoshi's auto BiddyEarly pheno's he grew back in 06' or sometime.

Zed
for you zed, i killa da bull
yeah i'm not sure if this 'auto biddy' is related, as it's a fully auto variety i got from ch@ppers, so i guess he's the man for info!

MAIG, a beautiful, healthy looking crop there, looks top quality. :)

Minime, love those guerilla pics man..! Seeing plants grown like that gets me buzzing. Like going on an exciting adventure..! Lol :D

I've still not grown any from the original AK47auto/WW cross I did, think I still have a couple of seeds left.
Would be cool to get a cut going indoors from your original mum. I'll be firing up the grow cupboard for the winter in a week or so. Still got to clean and sterilise a load of grow stuff first.
Good luck with the harvest. :)

WAM
, you want to maximise resin yield from the moldy trim, thoroughly dry out the after running it through the ice-hash proces, then use it again for ISO or BHO extraction. Solvent extractions can also be useful to clean up bubblehash that has mold spore etc in it.
You're gonna need all the resin you can get if it's got to last 18-24mths..! ;)

Just read your last post.. Lol, nice one bro. We'll discuss things at a later date, no pms at moment.

I expect the autoBiddy from Yoshi to show some non-autos as they're from the initial cross and weren't tested last I spoke to Yoshi. They might be related to those you have.. Though in my hazey memory I was thinking Ch@ppers did a run with the original Biddy stock, then started an auto project from there. Ch@ppers..?

LaBuenaHierba
, hey man, how's it going?

damn right!

bucks8n grew the auto biddy in his first outdoor groow circa 2007, and it behaved like a 'early outdoor' strain i.e done by mid september but still a good 6 footer.
the auto biddy i grew were ALL fully auto. lovely aroma, good stone... recommended... and i've got a good few AB x AB i made earlier on.

it's going to be a while before i take stock of the seeds i've made. still trimming with every chance i get!! once that's done i'll start with cleaning out the seeds...

enjoy your sunday folks! i'm having some mates 'round and we're pot-roasting a pork shoulder... YUM!

lol... i miss your garden too!

anyone konw where i can get 100/200ml screw cap glass sauce bottles?

first batch of home made chilli sauce done :D Cheyenne Sun Golden Sauce, i call it, because of the colour, the cheyenne chillis (golden colour at ripeness) and the sungold tomatoes i used. it's v1.0, so it won't be perfect, but it's my first, so i'm chuffed :D

i've also been making roast tomato chilli jam, which is fucking AMAZING, and so easy... time consuming, but easy. roast tomatoes for 3 hours on 100c, then chuck in a pot with vinegar and chilli and sugar, ginger, fish sauce and reduce on low until it's thick and sticky... about 2 hours ;)

got an ear infection :( it sux huge pyles...

Coming from a chef, those sauces and jams sound damn good mate, love all the local produce like that. ^^ :joint:

Bloody nice work everyone!!!!!

Welcome LBH :joint:

I still need to get some pics but the final weight on the Leb was a nice 14oz. i still have a bit left on the plant that would do another half...but the buds are fluffy so will go in the hash pile....HAPPY DAYS :woohoo:

The biggest cola went a half oz and in the main the buds have a nice density and have good frost coveage. The only thing letting it down is the lack of smell as the smoke is very nice and heady and will get better with a cure.

Heres a couple of pics...first up is the last pic i took of the Leb..

Help please,

I'm needing some good opinions urgently. Situation critical.

Here in Northern Ireland it's hard to cultivate outdoor herb as you can imagine. But by carefully selecting two strong Hollands Hope and giving them much love it has indeed been somewhat successful, as these pix show.

The problem is this...tomorrow it is October 26 and the plants are in the shown state, they seem like approaching the home leg as fan leaves are starting to lose colour and turn brown. Pistils are still largely white apart from the rain-damaged tops and tricks are not yet amber but reasonably tall and milky. Part of me feels the colas could be a little chunkier and that may come with more time.

However, the weather is closing in fast, just yesterday we had high winds and a really damp day despite sticking at around 12 degC. The first frost is due in mid November.

I'm really tempted to chop now but feel I could be a tad early...please anyone with outdoor cold climate growing experience...take a look at these shots and post some advice

Big thanks..

TC

Hold your nerve mate, they look alright. Its the hardest decision to make growing outdoors. Cold & wet isnt such a problem as warm nights & heavy dew, with no wind. I always think mushrooms are the clue, if you see them, then you want to watch'em like a hawk. Its those last few days when the buds swell, the plants immune system is low & the dreaded mould starts. Good luck.

Thanks bud, I'm holding tight another week then and the mushroom logic has a real ring of truth to it too.
Glad you don't see any issues with them flowering this late in the year.
Thanks again

Yeah, they look fine to me - I think you should be OK. Even if mold does start, you'll see it long before it gets hold if you're near the plants. Watch out for bud leaves mysteriously dying - that's the key. If you see one drooping or shrivelling, dig im, and there'll be a brown patch of fuzz behind it. But they look cool to be honest.

Much thanks chaps, but have slightly bad news...seems the rain a couple of days back took too much out of the top of plants, have had to snip grey rot from the very crown of four branches, has got me wondering whether to take what I can now, the weather forecast for the next few days says a huge downfall tonight and then three days of 18degC sunnyish weather, what will that do? is a bird in the hand worth two in the bush this year? learn my lessons? force flowering earlier next time and avoid the damper end of autumn? how much bigger you reckon they going to get?
Advice much appreciated, can take some pics if need be, but having to juggle enough today.
Much love
TC

hows it going people? see a few familiar faces on here :) i rejoined PG (couldnt remember my old handle and email addy)and sent out a few hellos to folks but when i checked in again the site was gone! the fuckers must have closed down shop? take it this is where yas all hang out now?

been a member on here for a few months but never really posted anything as i never even saw this thread till now. (i am a bit of a pc retard though)

hope everyopnes had a better summer than ive had in western scotland! fuck its been poor up here and despite me having a fair amount of plants out this year, none have made it to maturity unfortunately as the rains have stopped any chance of decent bud.

looking forward to next season where hopefully a few new choices in strains will pay off up here. im through buying shite dutch genetics now. the hollands hope we all used to crop early october now doesnt finish till november! - what an improvement they have made on that eh :S. its enough to make ya pull your hair out!

ah well, good to see a few old faces. take it easy -mister mojo risin- (you may remember me as outdoorbore on OG and PG)

Hey all...

, hey bro good to see you here..
Your question was one I wanted the answer to myself so I've been working out how to post full size pics and have found two ways depending on where your pics are held, in 'Member Galleries' or in your personal albums in 'My Profile'.

You can up load from 'Member Galleries' by copying the URL shown as 'Linked Image' ..See here: http://www.icmag.com/ic/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=784645&cat=500

Giving this picture on the post:
picture.php

..Or you can use a picture from your own album: Link to a pic in my 'General Pics' album: http://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?albumid=10622&pictureid=205765

Then use the 'BB Code' http://www.icmag.com/ic/picture.php....

Which posts the pic like so..

[IMG]http://www.icmag.com/ic/picture.php?albumid=10622&pictureid=205765

Seemed kind of confusing to have two different places to upload pics to. I actually upload the pics seperately to each location. But now I've looked about on 'My Profile' page I see the 'Members Galleries' is actually shown as a button called 'My Old Gallery'. While uploading I discovered that using the old gallery limits the file size, so I'll be using the 'My Albums' from now on. ;)

A way to find out codes for posting pics and links etc is to find an example someone else has already posted and then hit the 'Quote' button on their post. This will show the coding used. Still need to play about a bit finding out what part of the code is the bit to change to suit your post but gets you half way there. :abduct:

Peace,
Zed

TheCommon, lovely looking HH you've grown there.
Sorry to read of your dilemma, it's always a hard one to judge. I'd keep a careful eye on them, as you surely are already. You'll probably need to chop quite soon though as they'll most likely reach optimal ripeness and optimal mold conditions around the same time. Get them in and enjoy them soon. Good luck.
