here's few of my pehkuruder f3's. these two were one of the best females this year. the yield was looow, cause i had old soils in that spot and these girls were totally seeded. i'm still with low numbers but at least i got to make SOME selection again this year outside. they smell sweet citrysy liqourice like you described, that fits pretty good :)

this is deffo potential hybrid to the most extreme weather conditions, just needs still a lot of selection.

that chart is great and i'm glad you're adding new things to it. i'd like you to add to it that it's actually pehkurUder ((pekin pehku) x (lowryder x (ruderalis indica x lowryder)) lowryder x ruderalis is called Doubleruder.

(and it's Jeppis JoY there's a lil typo also)

i think ak-47 and ssh are good candidates to breed into auto. imho the more sativa budstructure, the better plant it going to be to our harsh humid weather.

thanks a bunch for the pictures of the pehkuruders. and also for the information regarding them. im very thankful, i will update this info to the genechart  your girls are so beautiful m8 :woohoo:

ive been thinking the same about the budstructure of the sativas. also i want the offspring to be tall and branchy, plus i think they will do good in terms of potency and flavor. one cross i think might have potential as an indoor strain is FINX(m)XAK47(f) .. i call this strain Finnish Sisu :D :D :D

ill go take some pics of the seeded ak47s and FINX for ya today

peace fam :joint:

an updated genechart.. let me know if anything else is missing or wrong.

here is my very first home-made cross. this is a one of a kind cross of an AK47 male and a TAK2 female. sofar i havent thought of a better name for it then TAK3.

i have 2 keeper phenos, one indica leaning variety and one more sativa leaning one. both seem to be quick finishers, pics are from around week6 i reccon the indica pheno might finish about a week before the sativa one.

both phenos are extremely resinous and sticky with trichs up along the fanleaves. the smell is kind of hard to describe id say fuel/citrus/pine/spicy .. dunno once ive tasted them ill be more able to describe them better.

indica pheno has dense rounded nuggets with little branching, the branches that are grows short and hugs the main stem. this one will grow as a single pole if you'd want it too.

picture.php

sativa pheno has more prolonged internode spacing and branches much like an AK47. but due to the explosive budding and growth it does not stretch any taller then the indica pheno, it just goes wider. the buds seem alittle less dense and grow in a more typical sativa like spear shape, this is to some extent due to radiation heat from the bulbs but not a huge impact.

picture.php

as you can see they are in the middle of a sea of green. ill get full plant shots and closeups at some point when i can get close to them hehe, its too much of a hazzle to move stuff around just for the pics. ill get to that :D

i was supposed to bring the FINX outta there today for pollination, but then i got visitors and there was no time. think we will have to do the FINX update tomorrow maybe. they are looking spectacular, ive got a few pheno variations to show.
-what you see in the background on the pics is mostly super silver hazeXcheese. ill get to that also hehe

Jiihaa!:D

A

arcticsun

yea buddy, i know what ur saying :D i always get real exited about sampling a brand new hybrid or strain. gets me all worked up hehe

first hit of a new strain also seems to get me twice as baked :D

sorry that the pictures are so undetailed, its because the HPS are on so the camera has some issue picking up detail with such strong light. also the room is jammed full so its impossible to get a full plant shot without removing some plants from the room.

ill put up the male pics in a bit, i hate putting them up because the males have much to little light atm and look puny. but i guess ill have to for the sake of information.

wow that finx looks crazy good!

was there another finx's like this? and had she any auto tendencies?

oh yeah and how does she smell?

A

arcticsun

im afraid the more auto-looking finx didnt have this trichome production. i have 2 more females in flowering atm. none of them are fully auto, but they are very light sencitive and have an explosive budding. these are spectacular indoor and 55north girls in any case.. ill definately run her again indoor. i still have 5 beans of FINX that ive saved, maybe the auto pheno is in there. altho the cross seems pretty stabile atm. for auto ill cross her to my pehkuruder male. i think that will be a great cross.

2 of the 3 females have this trichome structure, the third seems to be a heavier yielder but have alittle less trichomes.

id say these are semi-auto. the male will preflower and drop pollen from the internode flowers at a very early stage, but then he just wont fully flower like the pehkuruder which is 100% auto, all phenos, both male and female.

i dare not go down in the 12/12 room yet, ive been up minding the males just now, i think ill need to change clothes and shower before i go down there and take more pictures.

the smell, its alittle early to say, but id say its similar to the super silver haze atm. fresh piney kind of. not very stinky yet.

A

arcticsun

here are the males pera, normally i would never put up pics of such a pityful excuse for a grow. but in the case of these males i had no choice i had to throw up around 300w of regular desktop lights and ceiling lights. whatever i had basically while waiting to get a hold of a 250w.

as you can see the lack of light has made the finx flower abit but not fully, he is still stretching.

the pehkuruder would also have yielded much heavier if he had some better light. you can also see i broke him when shaking him for pollen hehe.

As usual, I'm a little premature... LOL

Looking great, artic sun! :respect: (I must spread rep...)

Really nice buddage! :smoker:

arcticsun

hehe yea peat u managed to sneak in a post in between there, premature yea. lol just like that pehkuruder male who splunged all over the place.

thanks for the props bro, love to have you drop by as always

i need a proper name for my tak3 there, have no idea what to call it. its a cross of a male ak47 and a female unknown from 3 seeds who was gifted to me by a seedshop owner in amsterdam a few years back. the strain was called TAK2, i never thought to ask the geneline of it back then. it turned out to be a hybrid looking extremely resinous plant that kicks one hell of a punch and has a similar taste to jack herer or apple jack imo.

its my first cross, i feel it descerves a name hehe :chin: ive got a mom from it, and i might very well descide to use that in a future hybrid

help me out guys :1help:
