That happened to me once I killed the power and turned it back on and its run normal again for months.You dont have to reset anything just kill the power for a second

so i'm back and i decided to make the leap.
just as i was about to place my order at plantlighting hydroponics i did some more research and found out that the CAP Fuzzy model doesnt have a remote sniffer... Well thats not good, i dont want to have to open the grow room to check is my PPMs are on point.. i want that # posted on the outside so i can see in an instant this are cool. for example NOT pinning the tank open and me breathing 9999 ppm of CO2...

...just about to place my order too and i changed my mind to the Sentinel CPPM-1. Only problem is plantlighting hydroponics doesnt carry Sentinel product. I wsa really excited to order from them too because they ship in plain packaging and bill as Alladin's Lights.
So its back to the drawing board. My current thought is to order from growlightexpress.com (they seem to be the cheapest?) and get the CPPM-1 and a Sentinal regulator but i dont know the quality of these yet. Anyone have good/bad experiences with Sentinal Reg and CPPM-1?
I guess i will email growlightexpress and see what their packaging and return address is like.

yeah, co2 is definitely a big expense. this is my first time diving into the big times, previously i wasted my time with self-mixed yeast/sugar.

Almost went with the Sentinel PPM but for the extra $ i went all the way.
sirripalot are you going to do a grow thread? Maybe we can help each other out on some stuff as we go. Mine is in my sig. Probably be hooking it up this weekend. Got the 20# tank and the Sentinel reg to boot. This should be my last expense in the grow room for a while... 'should'

If anyone wants to give me some critique i am really hoping to get to the 1g / watt with my own Soil blend, (12) 3 gallon grow bags cut to wide 2 gallons bags, 1000w Hortilux HPS and this new CO2 supplementation (2 week veg period. If you have any ideas PLEASE
if not, next time i am leaning towards Coco in 3.5 or 4.5 gallon pots. Hand watered

you could possibly save a boat load of dough (and hassle) if you go with a burner. i bought a vcg-6 from sentinel and use it with my cppm-1. a tank of $17 propane lasts me just over 4 months

awesome man, yeah i love this thing. i did setup a grow journal, but i haven't updated because i recently fried my plants when i made a big nute change right before i left for four days...STUPID STUPID STUPID. So I'm recovering from that. They just went into flowering, and i just setup my CHHC! I love this fucking thing. My settings are: PPM 1500 via fuzzy-logic, 82F, 45 RH..what do you think? The deadbands are set to like 3% i think.

i haven't updated it recently becaues i've been completing construction/making purchases. the co2 setup is also *hopefully* my last expense, phew. Check my thread of updates soon, i'll be watching yours!

propane would be more economical but i already have heat issues.. Thought the new 6" Vortex would solve that but no dice. Plus a little skeptical about the open flame thing.. I dont mind spending the $20 per grow for the tank. If i had a bigger grow i would definitly consider switching tho..
..just checked out your grow. Really nice. I'm following that for sure. For temps i set my unit at 87 degrees. I dont get any CO2 when the fan is on since i have them linked. If i had it at 82 i would never get any gas. 85 is totally straight with CO2. if you can handle it while keeping res temps in check i would bump it up to 85. Peace bro. Can't wait to see your flower pictures.
remember that the temperatures are not ambient temperatures but canopy temperatures. with my room at 75 degrees my canopy would be close to 85 degrees. if you already have a heat problem then you need to look into cooling things better. i have never seen a $20 co2 tank last an entire grow. 14-16 days was the longest i have gone before.
my temps at the canopy right under the lights are 90 - 93. Too hot i know. trying to figure something out as we speak.
how big is your room though Phillthy? I'm only rocking a 4' x 4' x 6'7" tent.

90F is not too hot if you're growing stretching plants(just started 12/12) in 1500PPM.It wouldn't be too good for plants after 30-40 days
Thats good to know. I have heard stories of people encountering hermi's at high temps even when using CO2 but the majority of reports are that its fine. I made some tweeks and now the hottest i am getting is 90. with the average being 88-89.
