Success!!! First Grow and I have a Christmas Tree :D

Hey guys,

Been working at this hobby off and on for a few years and got serious about it a few months ago. Tried to do soil first and had mixed results (I did pull about a ounce or so from five plants but it wasn't rewarding) however when making the switch to hydro... check out these pics!

This honestly has taken so little work after getting my room dialed in and I cannot believe how rewarding this has been and how good this has made me feel. It's amazing that something this huge came from something so small (bag seed) and can you believe that it came out female.

I have no idea what strain it is but I've never seen pure white buds before. Got about 35 days left but I'm just ecstatic. I can't believe how easy this was.

Just thought I'd report back with good results since you people helped me so much.

looks great, what kind of light you using of that lady? the white pistils will turn orange once it matures in a month or so. still beautiful none the less. keep up the good work!

I'm using a 1,000 watt HPS light I got a few years ago when I first became interested in this hobby. It's pretty bitching although it's scorched the plants upper leafs a few times when it grew too close to the light.

Awesome, I'm excited to see that. I can't wait to find out what strain it is.

It is rather ridiculous to go and cut a small bud off to smoke every night. It's also rather ridiculous to be smoking some fine weed that you grew and didn't have to pay anyone for.

My plant tried to escape the other day. I was hanging out in my room and all of a sudden looked over and saw my plant laying on the floor roots out. The plant has gotten so big that I have to brace it against the light stand now. I think the plant was trying to make it to Mexico. I have no idea how long the plant was laying like that on the ground for. I threw it back in the DWC and added some root hormone to the mix. A few days later surprisingly the plant looks just fine and has continued to grow at an exceptional rate. The buds just seem to get ridiculously bigger each day. I would also guess-estimate that there's over 200 bud sites on this plant (HOLY FUCK!!!)

I simply cannot believe how easy and rewarding this has been. I am just in utter shock and a complete fan of this hobby now. It is so amazing to walk into my room after work each day, simply clip a popcorn bud off and throw it in my vaporizer. This is amazing.

I would suggest tying up those wild shoots, and get them off the walls( mold mildew threat)

But if you get them to the proper orientation they will grow tight. Left alone on their sides like that, you will get some airy growth.

And possibly cut out lower growth that is just not getting light
