post up so micro growers know how to really MAXIMIZE our micros!

pics, stories, threads, whatever....etc......

I just bought a jug of Humboldt Grow Natural and plan on using the whole line of Humboldt stuff but havnt tried it yet(ive only got a seedling) and if anyone is using the Humboldt line I'd love to hear how your doin.

I will keep you informed.

Maybe if some cool person that has enough room and $ can do side by side comparison of nutes using clones.....?

I liked my BC and even GH better. Go light , I was with the full line of Humbolt's 3 part mild mix, and they already reduced their ratios by about 80% once. Kind of fucked me over pretty bad. To be honest I haven't heard anything great about them, at all. All name? who knows? but none the less the BC brand was the best. Enjoy, and have fun.

blood, bone, kelp, fish hydrolysate, and azomite - and all the food scraps from my kitchen and dog hair gets fermented then fed to worms, which give me good worm poop for my plants.

I started reading icmag to get a handle on the hydro nutes/meters I'd started using. One of the first things I read was "it's not what you use, it's how you use it" and that helped me a lot with hydro nutes. Any halfway decent nute is going to get you some great bud with no additives.

I use Dutch Master Gold, then started adding kelp, then molasses, now guano to the mix. One day I hope to be a fertilizer myself. Oh ya, I forgot pee too.

It may be the hydro guy trying to get me to buy it, but he told me the creator of Humboldt nutrients has won a few awards. He also says that the Humboldt is better than FF because it has more enzymes and shit in it.

I hope hes not yankin my chain. He was a real nice guy and seemed to know his stuff.

I got my Humbolt as a sample pack with a bunch of stuff from a hydro guy, probably just like yours, who talk me all about it, but hadn't used it before..... So I tested it out. The feeding chart was 4 times what they now recommend for almost every product. They where great all the way until the 3rd week of flower and it straight shocked all my girls, killing a couple. When I called their company they said they used a "very high feeding strain", with a lot of CO2, so in their tests that is what they used, and it was a max dose, on a mild dose set up. They appologized saying they are pretty new, and still are working out their stuff. I was pretty pissed especially because they screwed my medicine with no warning, but it taught me a lot about nute burn. Since then I've gone organic.
I have been a retail salesman (for several products...) and it is all the same thing. It isn't that they are all lieing to you... it's just a science, they are doing a mix of reading the customer, and selling according to what they can. Most of the stuff in there is most likely just different labels for the same thing. Notice, no matter the company, they all have the same product, and salesman all have "favorite(s)", for every different situations/price range, they repeat what the reps tell them... walking billboards. A smart hydro guy would probably tell you a great soil mix, tea mix, and say use RO and that would be that. But that is what we have this place for =)

Right now Shultz Bloom. something like 10-52-10. Similar to the MG Bloom Booster which is 15-54-15. I can't offer an opinion on it until I grow a plant with no fertilizers.

lol yeah it stinks a little. Feels kind of weird slashing in your nutes too and it freaked my meters out a bit. It's a pretty effective source of nitrogen though. There are guys on here feeding their plants with nothing but urine and water the whole way through. I don't add it to teas.
