Homebox XS + HPS250w + Moham Ram, SAD and JD

Hi friends!

Here I am once again with my Homebox XS, this time with 8 pots of 7 litre instead of 4 pots of 17 litre. Got tired of only having 4 plants.

For those who did not see my last grow with this same Homebox, I use the following:

- Homebox XS (60cm x 60cm x 120cm / 2feet x 2feet x 4feet);
- HPS250w;
- RVK 100A1;
- Sunon Fan;
- Honeywell Fan;
- Canna Professional Plus as Substract;
- Plagron Algabloom;
- Liquid Guanokalong Bat Guano;
- Canna Bioboost as a Flowering Stimulator;
- Neem as a preventive.


Strains this time:

3 Jorge's Diamonds #1, from Dutch Passion (all same pheno, from the same mother)
2 Sweet Afgani Delicious (mostly Indica pheno), from Sweet Seeds (both from the same mother)
1 Sweet Afgani Delicious (not so Indica pheno), from Sweet Seeds
2 Moham Ram, from Sweet Seeds

guanito: they had different veg times. Some I had them vegging for 4 months under a weak fluorescent and other vegged only for a couple of weeks. I keep them vegging for such a long time because I have them waiting for the flowering closet to be empty (harvest time). Now they vegged for one week under the HPS and are already in their definitive pots and I am passing them to 12\12 tomorrow. If they all came from mothers and if I wanted things to go as quick as possible I would only veg them for some 10 or 15 days.


BillFarthing: right, I'll keep an eye in your thread. Look, that's not the first time I'm using this Homebox XS with this same setup. In my signature you can find my last grow and it was with this same setup, but instead of 8 plants I had 4 plants but in bigger pots. I got 150gr of dried buds. I've been prunning them and training them. In this new pictures I'm posting today you can easily see the training.

Tomorrow (22nd of October) I'll change the cicle to flowering cicle (12\12).

This pictures were taken 5 days after the first pictures I've posted. I took them yesterday night.

Im now vegging 2 plants to try to fill the "L"... takes a while! hehe

My plants are still tiny... :( Not much to see now.... Glad they're not indica dominant or else 12-12 would be in 2010!! hehe :D No rush here, good stock, not consuming now, just keeping the great hobbie alive! ;)

I been lurking at that CC section for quite a while now as ZenGardener, and even so i didnt congratulate you for your "promotion", im well aware you deserved it.
Hope you can keep up the great participation at all levels.
Il'l try to get a bit more active there.

Yeah, vigorous growth over here, nothing can stop their stretch...

That's an interesting experience you are running there. How many litres of soil do you expect to use when changing to 12\12?

I also had to make a break and stopped consuming for a good couple of months last year. Altough it happened for health issues (hope not your case) I can say I appreciated to be 100% sober for a while, hehehe. I'll try to make a 3 or 4 month break in 2010 (hopefully no for health issues this time), lets see if I can pass so many time without my tasty buds :joint:

I had to stop because of some anxyety symptoms that are allready gone.
Im in no rush to get back in action. To tell you the truth, i got a bit scared in a way that now i respect the substance more. No big deal.
Getting tolerance levels down is cool too! :D
My 2 plants are in 11L pots now, bum im planning 40+L to each one in the future, way before 12/12.
2 or 20... exept for the veg time, in the end its the same thing. hehe
Well, ill have less work whatering than you hehe

Hey. Nice to hear from you.

The reason I made a pause was because of a stomach problem, which is not gone but is much better now and I don't smoke anymore, just vaporize with the Volcano and that also helps. But well, I also made a pause because of anxiety 3 years ago, but I've only stopped for 2 weeks, then I started smoking again but small quantities and I found that it had a good and a bad effect at the same time, because once the first big rush that comes in the first 20 minutes is gone, than one keeps with the relaxing feeling. But I tell you, since that happened I moderated my uses...

Are you leaving all the little sprouts on the bottom?
I tend to clean them as soon as possible.
Good luck on them, they sure seem to be doing nice!

Hi!

Yeah, it's getting really full of green. I get a bit lazy when it comes to clean all the little sprouts, I know I should have already done that but I think I may do it tomorrow. Sometimes I leave them because I think I'm lowering the chances of getting mold, which may come to be a reality since Im going to harvest them in the end of December.

But yes, since it is so much of a dense canopy and the bottom sprouts ain't gona get any light at all I think they're going down tomorrow.

They don't stop growing, I had to get the HPS almost to the roof...

I'll update it with photos in a few days, stay cool!

Hey mate!! Nice jungle!! :D
Seems like theres been some adicional stretching and fighting for the light in the beggining of flower. I would clean all that bottom where you can see bigger internodal distance.
Anyway, i dont even make extractions, so i hate to have all that little popcorn at the end...
Nice grow with a even canopy, good work!! ;)

Are the plants still stretching?
I was wondering if you'd need to do anything about the height.
Have a similar setup going on but the growlab offers a foot more of height.

Yes, I had almost a big problem with the stretching but fortunately they've already stopped with it. I'll post some pictures tomorrow so that you can see. I guess they aren't going to grow more than a finger now and I still have that space to put the bulb up.
