And weed helps, a little.

It started about 6 months ago after i came back from hospital and didnt wash my hands then ate. I started to get stomach pain straight after that, its is on for 1 hour then its gone for 1. Then on again and then off.

Went to doctor, she said it should heal/go away on its own. 6 months on it is still here. Should i see her again? Last time she did order some analyses simple ones but nothing came out of it...

Please go see a Gastroenterologist. You never know if it's IBS or something much worse......
If it's been going on for 6 months.... It's time to see a stomach specialist.

Feel better soon,
Ocean

I'm pretty sure (though not totally certain) they can tell straight away from biopsies and blood tests wether it's crohn's you have or not pip313 i doubt the docs are purposely holding out on you but I know how it feels not knowing what's wrong with you. It's not much consolation but there's not much they can do for crohn's at the moment anyway so you're not missing much in the way of treatment I don't think. Everything I've taken has pretty bad side effects, I'm on azathioprene just now and I think i'm better off with it but I'm still pretty ill. It also gives me double the chance of developing MS apparently so go figure.

Desant if you're doc is telling you to go away for 6 months go to another doctor, even one at the same practice. Seriously that's ridiculous. It's worth noting that many bowel complaints are directly caused or influenced by your state of mind, the brain/gut connection is intimate and very real, one influences the other and vice versa.

desant, can you describe your stomach pains? Does it occur regardless of what you eat and time of day?

I had some issues with stomach problems and I went to a naturalpath doctor, he gave me 1 tincture made with alcohol and some herbs. Literally in 1 day my stomach problems were healed. Your mileage may vary but it's worth investigating. Google biofeedback in your area you live in.

( stay away from processed foods, fake sugars, etc, drop the coffee for awhile and drop all milk / cheese products - see what that does first)

Your problems can be summed up in 3 words, Bad Eating Habits. Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables

Are you a doctor? Maybe the acid in fruits will cause the pain to be much worse than it is now. IMO people shouldn't give medical advice (nor should people listen to) if the poster isn't a doctor.

Wow. If the acid in fruit irritates his stomach he has serious problems. I might not be a doctor but I've overcome severe stomach problems that have crippled me for the majority of my life. Stomach problems always relate to diet. Do you have any factual evidence that fruit acid will cause more stomach discomfort? O you don't? that's what i thought...

that is kinda scary you leave the hospital and then start to get sick all because you did not wash your hands???I wonder what was on your hands????
