I screwedup big time....

My main cash crop strain i have had for years now is an old AK47 and i still get people knocking my door down (not literally lol.) and just cant wait to get it. Its the biggest producer and is a solid 9 out of 10 in potency. bag appeal is great too.

The problem is I had a hard couple months and now the only crop going at the moment is 4 weeks into bud and I didnt take any clones! I cant believe I screwed up so bad.

I dont want to loose her so my question is, is it possible to clone her still succesfully and will this cause problems with the strain in the future!

I've cloned late into flower before. It just takes a long time to root. And buy then the plant looks like shit. but they come around. You could also reveg one of your flowering plants. If it were me i'd do both jus to be sure.

From what I have read here, you can re-veg a plant.
I think this will be the best option but,
I am not speaking from experience.

you can take clones. it will go back into reveg grow a mother and take cuttings. Take a few lower cuttings and place them back into 24 hrs

Yeah you can still take cuts from it. It will take a week or two to go back into regular veg growth after the cuts root. Good luck.

Take a bunch of cuts from some sucker branches and then try to reveg a couple of them under some t5s or cfls. Did you send the cut to someone to hold on to? Might be smart to do so in the future.

I've taken clones late in flower and rooted them in a bubble cloner in a few days. They then don't do much for a week or 2. Then they start to grow mutant leafs for a few weeks. Then they started to veg like normal.

just clone it now, and by the time its done flowering you' should know if you need to try to reveg the plant or just go with the clones you cut.

the clones will grow funky for a while if it's more into flower then veg. i've done it a few times myself when in a situation like your. i didnt see any loss in the quality of the strain.

Try to take cuttings, if that doesn't work reveg. I believe you'll save the genetics.

i believe you can still take cuts when the plant goes in to flowering, i did and it was fine but took longer to root.

Also like other said you can re-veg the plant after you're done harvesting it, just leave a few popcorn bud on the stemp and throw her in to 24hrs.

Go on mate, and don't worry.

I just took some clones from some girls during the 4th week of flower without problems.

They took about 8 days to root in an ounce pot (like a shotglass size) with rockwool

Thanks for the responce! [ve taken clones at tthe three weeks point but never four and the size of the bud difference had me feeling a little uneasy. Im going to clone tomorrow anyway so I will keep you all posted. Thanks.

forgot to ask: is it better to clone the tops, middle or lowesrnbuds from a partially budded plant . Just wondering because the bottoms are always so woody?
