Well I liked it ... as far as pot movies go it's pretty cool ... and what is the name of the one where the square farmers start growin dope to supplement their income ?

Yeah, homegrown isn't slapstick. Its characters are not cartoons either. Very nice portrayal.

Book Wise every pot head that has the patience to read should check out Budding Prospects a novel by T.C. Boyle---about desperate individuals that start a growing operation---friggin hilarious...

Well it's not a movie, but Howard Marks - A Video Diary was a good watch if you like nug shots and comercial grows etc.

Maybe i'm a little blitzed, but no one has put down "homegrown" with billy bob thorton. It has some cheesey moments and ryan phillipe should die a painful/horrifying death of sliding down a slide made of razors and into a pool of isopropyl alcohol. But has some decent real plant shots if ya' have a good still pause on a progressive scan dvd player.

Man everybody was dissin on Half Baked, that movie is a classic. I am a young gun, but it was definetly a hit for my generation.

Its the little things that make it funny not necessairly the pot jokes...the whole storyline just focuses around smokin up and sellin weed

Dazed and Confused is also up there on my list.
