As you may have noticed we now have a slew of flags at the top of the forum. These are for translating the site into all those languages. As you probably know such translations are never perfect. But for those who really don't speak English, this can help a lot.

UPDATE: 1/8/2010. We have now updated the Google translation tool. It can be found at the bottom of the left column. Enjoy!

Hahaha... good future Skip...

I had a laugh at few translations...

Anyway, good feature.... sometimes can be very handy for peculiar words.

Thanks! :respect:

Thanks Skip! I love learning languages :D
Will the translation bar be placed at the bottom of the page after people know about it?

Just noticed them myself. That has to be a useful tool. Good plan IC. Peace GS

Every time I get to the site a pop-up asks if I want to jump to the romanian translation, which isn't good at all. Couldn't this feature only be used by clicking a flag? Or can I do something to have english as a default?

I had some fun with the feature but no more than that, the translation is very confusing.

@Skip I second what explo is saying. Due to the slang used and also to the fact that we use abbreviations quite a lot, the google translator just flips out and gives some amazing/funny translations.

....well that should add something to the humour of the site then....lol

...I am sure those that speak other languages will be getting a chuckle or two out of it...

For now it's the best that we can do...

Heheh yea, there's fun to be had. Especially with translated user names and rep messages. It's more fun than it is useful :)

Hey Skip,
I asked the boys and when you have some spare time you can get rid of the romanian translations. Thanks!

Has anyone found a solution to this?
I'm being asked everytime I log on aswell, which is quite annoying.

Fun idea though
