Strange 'V'-shaped Cupping of New Growth. Should I worry?

So my pants have been doing this weird V-shaped cupping and I'm really not sure what it is and thus what I should or shouldn't do or be doing. So If you guys could help me out, I'd be much obliged.
This IS my first grow.
Unknown species (from trusted friend).
Approx 2 1/2 weeks old.
In a 2'x2'x4' cabinet w/ 2 CFL and another generic incandescent 'grow lamp' (for heat).
24/0 schedule.
Lights approx 3" away from top of plants.
Feeding w/ Bio-Thrive 5-2-2 (1 tsp/cup).
They drink approx 3 cups of water n nutes a day in the new 1 gal pots i put them in a few days ago. Right after transplant they looked wonderful. Lush and dark green. I have had some yellowing on the tips and spotty here and there on the older leaves. Dunno what to do, kinda nursing them back to health. Thanks guys. Have pics.

I'm starting to think more and more that this is probably nothing. But i moved the incandescent light further away, just in case, and I'll probably go easy on the nutes.

Nothing to worry about man, just what new growth looks like until it flattens out as the leaf gets bigger. I can't make the pics bigger for some reason but they look fine from back here.
