How many gallons is that bucket?

I would put as many 1 gallon buckets in there as I could veg them for 3 weeks, and lst, supercrop, and fim the shit out of them and then flower under as much light as i could. I would probably use a lot of 42 waat or maybe 70 sumthin watt cfl's.

Or if you could get away w/ it 2 250 watt hps's, add some nice intake and outake fans, w/ a scrubber.

Reason for not using some of it as veg, is because for me personally veg'ing you can do it in the same area before you flip to 12/12 or use a top shelf closet.

I would do half veg half flower.

Drop the bottom out and put a shelf in the middle of the flower chamber. 2 level Dr.Bud style sog.

First things first I would clean it up, paint it with a mold and bacteria resistant paint then line it with mylar or the thicker stuff, can't remember what it is called. Then I would work out the ventilation issues, create a hood and reflector ceiling for a number of low watt bulbs maybe 4 or so of them evenly spaced in a ceiling hood which can be lowered and raised via a cable system or just a simple set of pegs put in holes drilled into the 4 corners. I would run a low profile dwc or aero system but I have also seen dr bud style mini pots yield well, I am just not a fan of having to hand water them or the dirt being inside like that. 1/2 for moms and clone veging 1/2 for flower. The clone room could be set up with some flouros or cfls and do fine. The flower chamber I would do mh or hps in low wattage variants and run sog style. Thats what I was thinking...

Some good points so far!

I am hoping someone will do some drawings

I dont think i want to use both sides right off.

Im thinking extend like 6" into the other side and building a wall

This will give me 43"Wx25"Dx29"to 33"H

I would like 4 chambers flower ,clone ,mom and drying/curing

Im thinking pull all the air through all the chambers from one main intake and exhausting
from one outtake at the top of the last chamber.

Wondering if it makes a difference which chamber is the main exhaust any thoughts on this? such as clone chamber would make bad as the last one ?

Sorry, I am not much of an artist so I wont be drawing you and pictures but I will give my 2 cents on these ideas. I would suggest just having two chambers, one with the mom and clones because they don't need to be separate. I would only use one or two bonsai moms and have a bunch of clones, that way you can pick the best looking clones to run with. The bigger flower chamber is a good idea because of obvious reasons. One intake sounds risky, it is better to have more smaller intakes than one large one and you are going to be venting air to keep it fresh in there and to keep the temps in control. I would use negative pressure meaning pulling air out of the box rather than pushing it in. You can make an arrangement for another drying location in a closet or covertly in another piece of furniture. I would pull the fresh air into your flowering room because if you use hps or mh like security or flood lights those are going to be the hotter chambers.

Here is my go at it. I would divide the whole area in half. Use one half for flowering with 2 150w hps lights in cool tubes. I would divide the other area in half again. The middle section could house all the utility stuff like ballasts, fans, a diy carbon scrubber and timers. This utility room could also double as a drying room if you added a screen rack or something similar. Then I would use the last room for mothers and clones and would probably light it with pl-ls or some other flouro bulbs. Since they use the same light schedule and spectrum the mothers and clones can share a room. Sorry I don't have any drawings but I could provide plenty of links to similar items such as dual 150w hps cool tubes and diy carbon scrubbers.

This is the money you could be saving if you grow

Because of the height, I would use the entire box for vegging. On the left I would have one strain and on the other, a 2nd strain. Sorry. 3 feet isn't tall enough for me to flower in without being an artist. I know this. I am currently flowering in my veg chamber about the same dimensions and I am out of room. I knew this going in and will be moving the Papaya into the taller more flowering friendly box.

But paint and cleaning is #1. Light proofing is #2. More advanced growers will put in vents and fans and scrubbers.

Best of luck! Have you thought of tipping it up on it's side? I can flower in 6 feet of vertical space.

You can easily flower in three feet cabs. You will have to do some sort of training such as scrog, lst or Dr. Bud style sog but I would not rule out using this cab to flower in. These methods have been used over and over again with proven success. You don't have to go big in order to grow big.

Keep em coming guys Im going to gather all of your input and incorperate it all into the build!

So I should treat each chamber separately and have fan pulling out of each ?

do you think the veg/clone chamber will need a scrubber?

Ideally yes but it all depends on your situation and how stealthy it has to be. Needing a scrubber depends on what strain you are working with and again how stealthy it needs to be. In my state I think anything over an oz is a felony so you have to be super stealthy.

your best bet would be to read the cabinet grows (cabs) and take what you like from each

I have read them :yoinks:

I have presented a design and now im looking for feedback
rather it be negative or positive:respect:

I am mainly interested on everyone's thoughts on my Intake/Exhaust set up
