I was gettin meds from a guy in Wa. state....this dude had the worst friggin hair fallout of anyone I ever came across. Cuz when I would get the meds, it would ALWAYS have a bunch of LONG hairs like 12-14inches wrapped all through the nugs...Excellent smoke but always with the hair wrapped around it...yes I felt it was a little disgusting. did it keep me from smoking the meds? Nope, but I always had to dig through it looking for the damn hairs in it. How this phenomenom occurs is WAY past me. But obviously I'm not the only one who's had to go through it...LOL. Peace and shine on...
I know it happens, and I wouldnt make a big deal over it if I got a sachel from a friend, but I would never send any of my buds to the despensary with hairs in them. Thats just tacky. I take pride in my groomed buds. Plus the fact that hair stinks real bad when it burns..... ewwww.... burnt hair.

Personally as an owner of 3 cats and 2 dogs it doesn't bother me, I have pet hair in many things around the house I'm sure.
On the other hand I know it bothers other people, and when I donate meds I make sure I do the best job I can at ridding the bud of any hairs. I usually find that since I do a pretty thorough trim job I get most of the foreign material as i go too. From my brief work at a dispensary I noticed many buds are pretty lazily trimmed...what happened to having pride in your work...oh yeah a lot of them only care about $, not providing quality medicine.
I would be much more concerned about what ferts/pesticides they used...

I don't think its the end of the world, but I definitely would expect better from a dispensary. I sure as fuck wouldn't let animal or human hair get on my buds.
No dispensaries anywhere near here, but I've found rocks, bugs, hair, unknown fibers, plastic bits, dirt/sand and lots of other junk in weed, and that includes good indoor stuff as well as outdoor, brick and middies.
The fact is, people handle the product, and unless it's been packaged in a clean room, you're gonna find various contaminants. If some dude is busting up a lb into bags and drops it on the carpet, he's gonna scoop it up and bag it up and you're gonna get whatever is lurking in his carpet in the bag too.
Same goes for dispensary weed. It was packaged by humans, some of which may be indifferent, shady, or lazy, or paying someone else to do the packaging who might be lazy or indifferent.
When people are involved, well you get the picture.
