Aww im sorry to hear that.. Ive had my cat for about 14 years atleast now, we had him since birth... I hope Tiki gets better, hang in there kitty...

She may have had cancer. The blood tests suggested it.. Whatever was the real problem was effecting the nervous system. She just slid down from Saturday to Thursday.. The infection around the face and left eye seemed sudden. She and I interacted many times a day. I didn't notice anything until she was MIA Saturday night/afternoon. Then it was an OMG moment with the left eye..
Antibiotics helped at first but that quickly changed yesterday.

I wish you many more years with your Tom.
Tiki added to my life. I believe your Tom adds to yours.

Im sure Tiki had a great life there with you Jack, and long..RIP..DD

She did DoobieDuck..

I have noticed cats coming by from around the neighborhood. I'm may be reading into it but maybe a form of paying respect.

She was the matriarch of the area; the oldest female around. The wisest too.

Cat culture is real. They have rules to their societies.

When I saw a tom I knew had visited her a couple times in the past two years here and the other four that live closer all coming by in one day I took the liberty to read into it.

We had a wake here for Tiki with my friends coming by with flowers and well wishes. So, it's been as nice as I could have hoped.

My beliefs follow a Buddhist path and I have read that three days are given for the body to die completely. Up to that time it is possible some life in the body is still surviving. It will be three days in a few hours. Once the time is past I will not worry more.

Buddhists also hold dreams in high regards. My dream was that she will reincarnate as a human baby boy. That was a comforting dream.

Jack, I'm sorry to hear about Tiki passing away, just read the news after sending you k+ for her recovery... she is fine now, it is all good man, also, if you see her soon in dreams, don't be surprised, it is a visit, happens so often when dear cats and dogs die.
much peace man

The Woman who named Tiki, my first wife, said Tiki liked purple and all it's shades.

I shot this with purple hopes and i feel i got lucky.

For Tiki..

One more.

One more.

This is a mystery.. I don't understand how it happened so I take it as something of spiritual.

I was editing a photo and I selected one thing and got another.

It's some spiritual influence I'd say.. Enjoy!

RIP Tiki

I have an old siamese, my best friend Jethro. After reading about Tiki's eye infection, I noticed Jethro's eye was infected too. I took him to the vet and got some medicine. He is OK now, but I thank Tiki for making me check it out with vet.

Jethro says thanks too!

Thanks Lola,

Actually the infection was secondary to what caused her red blood cells to have such a low count. Also her electrolytes were really low.

There may have been an abscess or more likely it was Cancer.

So regular health checkups are a good thing.. Tiki was seen in April and I didn't see any problems until it was really serious.
