how big is a 2oz dried plant?

anyone got any pics of 2 OZ plant preferably a large yielder power plant chronic etc. trying to determine size thinking of growing smaller plants in 2 gallong bags with promix bunches of them instead of trees takes to long for my medicine veg time is kill.

I'm sorry I don't have any pictures for you, but there's a general rule of thumb I've heard.

[1 gallon of soil = 1 foot of vertical growth = 1 ounce of dried bud]

That's a rough approximation but I've seen it fall in that range more often than not. Of course a strong Sativa is going to have that extra foot of vertical growth. But your average hybrid. Remember, people can make 2 ounces come out of half a gallon and some people can only get an ounce off three gallons. I'm assuming you're average.

I know that's not what you're looking for but I hope it helps a little.

I just finished growing out a Nirvana AK-48, cupboard grow, and I pulled just over 2.5oz close to 3 easy.

I vegged the Ak for 25 days under a 110w cfl, then put it into my flower cupboard (4" x 2") under a 400w hps in an 18 litre pot. Which is about 4 and a half gallons I think. I leave the light 20 inches or so for the first week then drop it to 12 for the second then 8 or so the rest of the time.

I tied down all the branches so that they were the exact same height and evenly spaced around the main cola. Then at about 4 or 5 weeks I get rid of almost all of the leaf that's not growing out of the bud letting tons of light onto all the bud sites. After a couple of weeks the bud leaf will eventually fill out the empty spaces, but I think those couple of weeks light work really well.

Thats just how I do it, most people will tell you not to do a lot of that but its fine really. My leaf bleaches a bit cause the lights a bit close but the bud is still sweet.

So 25 days veg from first true leaves 4 gallon pot you will have nice size plants. Give your roots a bit of room they love it.My plant looked similar to funk bombs but mine had a shorter main cola and bigger colas on the branches from the tying down, it makes a huge difference.

If true,

My 3 foot plant in a 1 gallon pail will dry out to 3 ounces.

FUNK: Can we redo this picture with a yards stick for scale?
Using the door hinge, I estimate your plant to be 4 feet tall. 5 including bucket.

Hey man, I realized that I kinda sounded like a dick yesterday with that post, my apologies. First time I've ever said "do a search!" to someone too, kinda vowed not to do that when I joined here but it's getting harder, lol. Take it easy bro.

Thanks guys, I no longer have this OG mom. I got her in 2008 at Sun Valley Coop somewhere in SFV. It actually gets really frosty and they used to call it XXX OG, which IMO is a cross. It does not have the Lemon Pine taste as much as the funky, wet dog hair taste that some OG crosses seem to have.
I prefer the SFV Piney Lemmony OGs so I didn't keep her. Shew was also a bit on the leafy side, very very frosty though and turned a darker color at around days 60-70.

The reason she yielded so well was becasue I was vegging her to be a mom, she was over a month into veg when I flowered her, FFOF with added perlite, H&G nutes, and 600 W HPS. so that's the only reason I got 2 ounces more or less, I didn't weigh every little popcorn, I vegged her a long time and flowered her already as a bush when i had to close the grow for a few months... Sure did last me a while and was decent smoke, but not the best OGs I've had.
