Heard on our local news that a wildlife area had been reported as having an abandoned marijuana operation in it. The police closed down the county roads around the area for the day as they walked the woods in effort to find this "abandonded" operation....used that word many times..

I just don't get it......where this wildlife area is, been snowing and cold for weeks? Am I missing something?

Just out of curiosity, if they don't even know where the "abandoned operation" is, how the hell do they know it's abandoned?

sounded like it was outdoors and the season is done @ that point, I think maybe some hikers/hunters stumble onto it, there was no report just the 30 second news brief...I think it was because the County Road through the wildlife reserve was going to be closed, to let people know to take a detour, not the pot foucs.......

guess my point they probably going to find the trash that the squaters left behind and spent some good money doing it!

Was probably a "tip" from the people who grew it there, wanted someone else to clean it up before winter and snow came....Although illegal guerilla farmers, maybe they had some respect for nature and the environment.....I have not heard anymore and nothing on the local stuff.......

This would be a good way to keep the police busy during harvest. When you are done growing in a location and don't plan on growing there again you could have someone call in a tip about it. They would then waste there time and resources checking it out and bragging about there "find" to the local media. Just be sure not to leave anything incriminating behind.

That's funny, when i first read your post it sounded to me like the growers were just lazy and wanted the cops to be their maid and clean up their mess.

more reports coming out......initial reports wrong, not quite abandoned, or they found more, big wildlife area... 4 acres....had to bring bulldozers in a "plow" a way through the forest to get to them... sounds like a hunter found it.... sounds like they clear cut a 4 - 6 acre plot in the middle of thick woods... I am sure we will see more... another bust brought 50 plants valued at $2000 a peice; showed some small outdoors about 3-4 feet tall. Law and Media working together!

I wonder how much environmental damage the bulldozer did compared to what the mj farmers did. I guess the drug warriors can justify anything as long as it's in the name of the eradicating the evil reefer.

You got is pistil parrty09.........

so if i heard the end report right; didn't they plant some "native" ditch weed around their crops and that is what they left also....

thought it also said it had been abandoned for 3 weeks and they had harvested the crop.

78 law officials + countless other resources no doubt. could have had the community service people in there to clean it up also.

anyways.....glad they are working hard on catching the theives and child molesters and other deviants....

and did you see that one dude.....looked like some kid went in there to snatch up some buds for his buds and got caught and they going to pin it all on him?

I did remember about 5-6 years ago when the law officials thought they found a huge crop and did the same thing, spent time and money and it was hemp!

yeah it was shawano, not gb...my bad

sounds like they got there after they harvested....frost probably saved their asses...or they were spotted by a hunter and ditched...either way, thats bullshit they have THAT MANY pigs working on one case...i guess they have nothing better to do than stand around high-fiving each-other and playing grab-ass over some fucking plants that they didnt even find....what a waste of time...they need to go lock up a few hundred REAL criminals now to make up for all the lost time standing around in the woods butt-fucking eachother looking for plants amongst the other plants....good god this makes me sick, but it also makes me glad that they dont have hella-cock-suckers flying around all summer like in cali...their stupidity is what allows us to grow in peace it seems...
