I've smoked about £5 worth of sprayed weed and that was enough to make me really ill. I really wouldn't be surprised if the kid in this story was smoking sprayed weed. Sadly, most young, uneducated stoners can't tell the difference between a nice cured nugget of good quality weed and a quick-dried nugget of contaminated weed.

People need to be educated on the subject, not lied to.

I was only about 13 when I started taking drugs. I didn’t realise the risk of taking them until the day my life nearly ended. It first started when I used to hang around with my sister, she used to smoke weed. I just thought it was like a normal fag until I had a joint to myself. I began to be sick and felt light headed. She told me that it was a drug but didn’t hurt anyone. I started smoking it more and more and always wanted it.

My sister realised that it wasn’t good to smoke it so she stopped and stopped going out with her mates. I then started hanging around with people that smoked it and started picking up a lot of it at a time. I then started selling it and thought I would never get caught until the day I was laying in hospital on life support because I smoked so much my body couldn’t take anymore and shut down.

This is to all the weed smokers out there, don’t smoke more that 50 pounds worth in one night because it can really damage your body and other people round you.

He's a 13 or 14 year old kid. Where is he getting the cash to "start picking up lots of it" ? This kid must earn more than I do, in my mid-forties! Maybe I should get a paper round.

My dealer struggles to get it £140 per oz wholesale to make enough profit to pay for his own smoke.

I'm surprised they didn't add in a section about how he started burglarizing houses or mugging people to get his weed money. He didn't start selling until AFTER he was picking up a lot at a time, after all. Maybe he started pimping his sister out to pay for it, that would be good copy.
And he only got caught when he was on life-support? He or his buddies didn't empty his pockets before calling the ambulance? They can't charge you with possession once you've metabolized it. That's why I swallowed that eigth when the police raided the party, and why I never got charged after that awkward incident with the mushrooms.

I guess Frank's budget doesn't extend to a proof-reader older than 13.
