I have 3 plants started. The leaves have a yellow tint that seems to radiate from the middle out, leaving the edges more green. Leaves curl and twist. The have a very dry look and feel. Have a look and tell me what you think.

You may be right. After doing my own research I was under the impression FFOF was good enough for the first month or so. I have seen other peoples grow problems and they were told the soil was too hot... I am a nub so wtf do I know. Thanks for the tip. Anybody else have an opinion?

What's the Ph? How's the drainage? DR1 sure looks waterlogged to me. Maybe the rest too? I'd say Ph lockout too? They shouldn't need food yet. I'd transplant and make sure drainage and Ph were good.

I am using dolomite lime so I thought the ph would balance itself. I think the drainage is good 2 part FFOF 1 part perlite.

I think you're too wet then... Everything else seems good. It's about time to transplant anyway...make sure the new containers have nice big drainage holes.

But they don't look BAD...

let your soil get nice and dry, the hit it with some ph'd RO water. i always let my soil get nice and dry before i water. these are fairly tough plants, they can take a little dryness :)

I picked up one of the cheap rapier test kits has pills you crack open and add water... I know not that great... maybe better than nothing. Anyway It said my nutes were fine and my ph is 6. I have been letting the soil dry all the way out then watering with some distilled water. They get watered every 2-3 days. The cup gets lite then I water. DR 2's soil never gets quite as dry as DR 1 or HP. I was running lights 24/7 I have reduced it to 20/4. I guess Ill give it a few days to see if that makes any change. Any other input would be greatly appreciated.

Here are a couple updated pictures. The leaves seem to form and curl right away. Also I noticed roots have grown out of the top soil wtf? Haven't watered them yet. Not sure how long I should wait to know if they are getting better. Any other diagnosis's? Or just wait... :1help:

Your soil is way too wet. That is why your plants look like lettuce and especially in the second picture, you can see how the leaves almost look "swollen" in a way. You really need to let your soil get pretty dry in between waterings. I would even wait until the leaves are noticeably drooping since you seem to be prone to overwatering.

Very much correct. k+

I was going to say that you prolly shouldnt feed yet either... If youre using FFOF you could have cut it with just a tad bit more perlite, and I would hold off feeding for at least a couple weeks. Take care of your over-watering issue first. Your roots are suffocating and need some air and a little dryness to grow.

Also check your day/night temps, Make sure theyre not under 70F/not over 80F and check your ventilation.
