Facebook sucks, don't sweat it.
When I first joined I thought it was fun, meeting old friends and such, but quickly realized that sometimes there are really good reasons to leave old friends behind. So many have disappointed me. No, I don't give a crap that God is your best friend or that you've become a racist jerk in your adult life.

Welcome to the dark side. Ive never understood how people become so obsessed with those sites, maybe because I never signed up.

those sites suck... overgrow and icmag rock not just because of the subject at hand and all its ramifications, but because we all must remain anonymous too, like it always was when all this forum stuff started.

I never had an account on either MySpace or Facebook. I am in my 30's and in the tech industry so being connected (emails, cel, etc) just sucks. I don't want to keep 'connected'; I am sick of people.
Years ago, a friend was like 'Hey ever tried myspace; you can use it connect with people you lost touch with years ago?' My response was that there was pretty much a reason we lose touch with certain people. A year after the craze started I dated a certified 'MySpace whore' --she wasn't a slut, but her whole life was defined by MySpace. She has thousands of friends but was, IMO, a total loser. Hottest chick at the party, and was the most ANNOYING person I ever met.
Happy to say, I survived several years now without accounts and--unless I am on my way to become a crotchedy old luddite---I really don't see that I will ever need these for anything. My wife loves it, she's on there all the time talking to her high school friends that never amounted to anything. Each time she connects up with folks from Facebook, I am like 'can we lose their number?'

facebook and twitter is so retarded. i have never used twitter ever, i had a facebook for a couple months because i was trying to holler at this chick who i didnt have any classes with.

usually people who overdo one thing will always overdo others SO I would worry more about the issue of addictive personality over a specific site or sites.
Yea deleted my myspace awhile back.. My gf always wanted me to make a facebook and I always said NOPE.. I dont fuck with those sites anymore.. I use 2 other forums and a flickr account n thats it.. Ive got special names and emails for my Icmag account tho.. Security 1st... 
Youtube is where I download all my music..Get vdownloader and download away.. Ive got tons of movies tv shows an music via youtube.. Thanks for the comment on my avatar, I have to thanks shutterbug for it.. THANKS!! Yours is pretty sweet reminds me of a halo thing, does it mean anything..?

To everyone who says they deleted their facebook... I'm pretty sure thats not possible.
You can only "de-activate" your facebook account, there is no way to actually delete it.
