Elamnito, Girls are looking lovely man. I'm sure you have harvested that early Lesotho buy now right? What's she like?
That Yunnun Indica is looking very interesting. Can't wait to see her in more full budding.
Ghanianan sativa looks great too. What has she been crossed with as I see seeds in the pic?

Thnx bro

Harvested one of the Early Lesotho's with plenty of ripe seeds today, so you have to wait for my smoke report.:D

The Yunnan indica is a fast flowering one, but she has to go for a while. She is pollinated by a big Parvati male.

hey guys nice pics as usual AH, regarding info on the canadian sativa, all i was told is what country it came from and that it had been grown here for a couple generations before i had the opportunity to smoke it. Its definately one of the tastiest sativa's i've had the pleasure to try and all the bud i've tasted of it was grown outdoor so there was a full terpine profile mmm... tasted like sweet morrocan hash with a tinge of indian spice.

Kinda off topic but one of my goals in life is to get in decent enough shape to hike Kilimanjaro and smoke a fat ass joint as I'm looking over Amboseli. I stayed in Amboseli for a couple days during a safari a few years back. It's not very expensive for the hike plus it only takes a week or so to hike it. Only thing I'm worried about is going from sea level here in Florida to the level of Kili. I've always heard that altitude sickness is what gets most people.

Hi!

Forgot to tell,AH,I didnt managed to get a good germing ratio with Congo and got only around 5-6 plants, leaving 3-4 last & final seeds in the fridge for a little and last attempt with them. Was looking for a male so they didnt receive much cares to trying getting maximum number of them...finally did wrong leaving only one wich was hermi...

Thanks for the info on days of bloom,yep...Id say Durbans are similar or a bit faster than Etiopians Ive got here for their development so far in bloom, but will see how it ends.Transkei and Swazis are a bit more advanced and would say that the first one are looking as they will end up a bit early.

I started all this strains with some more the same day,20th July...so its their day 75 of life I think,at least a month into flower Id say, some started earlier some a bit late...

One thing I also wanted to see is how they respond to several pest or disseases,so Ive left them a bit long before giving them any treatment.Ive got spidermites and oidium in the grow and its quite easy to see wich girls are the most sensitive to the mites and the fungus.

Seemingly, the less interesting for spider mites are the Ethiopian girls, being the Swazis and Transkeis their prefered place to be...Durbans vary a bit,so mites can be seeing in big quantity in all Swazis/Transkeis and some Durbans, medium population on some Durbans (there is one exception),and low population on Ethiopians.

Oidium is focused on the Durbans mainly,I was surprised to see some very very affected girls, maybe for being a bit "too green" for the use of ferts having some a dark green appearance were oidium I guess it feels very well to stay. Also saw in the Transkeis but a little less.

Talking on fertilizing the easier ones to get overfertilized Id say they are Trankskei and Durbans showing first this signs while Ethiopians and Swazis seems like they can eat a bit more,Ive beeing using Terra from Canna in low dosis so far.

Im enjoying a lot the Swazis, would love to plant more to make a nice selection.Durbans have a very big potential but may need a bigger selection maybe, finding very nice girls so far but very different between them also,Swazis and Ethiopians seems more stable.

Ill be talking a bit more about them with some pics, peace all and once more thanks AH for this beauties :joint:

Peace

Transkei

It continues with its thin stigmas, some getting brown but still forming more new ones.As said,a bit overfert and with plenty of mited running around,a bit of oidium in the first big fat leafs. It smells fresh, reminds of strong cleaning products,a bit acid.Calixes with nice resin.
What I dont like from it its his lanky branches compared to her african sisters. He grew and stretched a lot in very little time and this branches havent got much strenght to be up in the grow, bending and going down not getting as much of light as she could

Swazi

Im loving it,the faster in starting to bloom I think,Transkei was also fast.It forms buds quickly and resin comes out quite soon, with a very fresh,citrus-acid smell Im enjoying so much!It has got a medium size and fits quite well without need of toping or bending here.Very vigorous with thin branches to the air always looking for the light.

Ciskei,P4

Small internodes and quick bloom, the pics are from a while back, its quite a bit more advanced so far.Its got the same structure and way of forming buds but has a new aroma in this generation of green apple very remarcable, love it,very intense...can be noticed in several ciskeis.

Hope to come back tomorrow with some Durbans and Ethiopians :joint: :)

Peace all!

Hey nice work Txopín-Iruña! The girls look lovely. You have the Nice Swazi pheno. The one with lots of resin and tight buds. There is a low resin, foxtail pheno which I;m trying to breed out. The Swazi is very strong herbs and I think you'll really like it. Def one of my favourites.

I look forward to more pics

wow Txopín-Iruña really good photography on your africans and such diversity :)

the swazi's are my personal favourite to play with and i have a wide selection of different genetics that i've used. There was one airy foxtail pheno that was surprizingly strong that i found (posted pic of it in early stages up the page). But im yet to find a keeper of the dense bud early finishing pheno but had many of them that passed as ok or better than ok. yours looks quite promising so far :) waiting on smoke report !

And yeah i cant speak for the transkei, but for swazi those things are like mite magnets ! and the leaf formation is so prevalent that they seem to hide in too many crevices once they start flowring to completely keep them at bay.

newest addition to my grow cab~

Your Africans are looking :yoinks: Great pics!!! :respect:

New update from my Africans.I bought some seeds of Kwazulu, but first we have to find a good light for indoor growing, not HPS.

Early Lesotho buds (If you cant get any import just make your own :D)

The Ghanianan sativa's are doing quite well, although it is at night nearly freezing point. They are tough!!!

Can anyone in this thread chime in on how to properly roll/cure cobs of bud? Gonna do some outdoor this year and probably won't have enough jars to cure all of it. I've read cobs increase potency but decrease smoothness and that sounds like a fine trade off to me.

She is lookign Lovely Elmanito! looks to be coping with the cold really well.

It looks like you yielded lots of seeds from the early lesotho. How does she smoke btw?

Beautifull girls DK!

Cheers, Ah

Hi there, great thread! i grew a very nice nigerian cross this year and ever since ive sampled it, african genetics have my attention :)
I would love to here your opinion's on where to get the best african genetics... do you rate afropip seeds? i want a fast potent african that can be grown in the uk outdoors. Durban poison and nigerian have been recommended, are there any others?
