Wow. Today I went into my room to the most sadness ever. I guess I forgot to water, they sure are soaking up that water fast!!
I'm going to start watering REALLY heavy, as they seem to suck up everything in less then 2 days...which is a pain in the ass for me, as I take each and every one out and then place them it nicely again.
I havnt given them any nutrients since I made the flip. Last two waterings have been plain PH'd water.
My next watering im going to use some bloom nutrients. I havnt been sticking to my feeding schedule like I was going to, but things seem to be taking formation nicely, so I'll start the additives on week 1.5 of Ultra Bloom – Uses organic plant signaling compounds and nucleic acids to trigger flower development.
I may use "The Yellow Bottle" lineup, as I REALLY wanna see what the hyp is, but I might just stick with some basics.
Since nobody been hanging out much, I decided to go pick a lovely lady at random and chop the shit out of her. Why? Who knows! We'll see! I think it'll work atleast! Maybe it will bring some curious bystanders to come check things out. Maybe its good documentation for the next noob like myself trying to grow this strain but cant find TOO much online! The more the merrier! Damn im high.
Before and after photo. Cut off a bunch of limbs and hopefully all the weight gets packed UP TOP!
Think I made a mistake?
I'm going to trim up most of them, but I usually wait to start trimming lower branches once bud sites are in place.
and a canopy shot. for whatever reason i like canopy shots with the hoods in the angle.
This thread was one reason that I registered.. I'm pretty interested in what chronic can do. Strangely nobody else really does grow reports on this (seemingly) freekish plant.
*edit*
I neglected to mention, only day 4? Man you have to be excited! Cant grow myself right now, I'm gonna live vicariously thru this one for a bit
I was wondering...
How come you decided to attempt supercropping on chronic? This strain is supposed to be grown as single cola (my guess would be that the most efficient would be sea of green) have you been taking clones of all the plants? me personally, when i was growing i constantly cloned (and threw away many clones too) but when you find a keeper... its worth its weight in gold (literally). And a good keeper can last you a lifetime. You aren't too late currently to still do some cloning.
If I remember right there were like 4 different phenos for chronic, we will have to see what comes out of your seeds... From 28 (most growers don't throw down that much on 200$/10 packs) you are bound to find something that you can keep for a long time.
Hey bs0! The reason I "Supercropped" is FOR THAT REASON EXACTLY! She is TOP cola dominant, not SINGLE cola dominant. She yields fat no matter what, but topping doesnt work as effectively. The reason I SUPERCROPPED, was to get the plants to BRANCH out, so some of my side branching is the SAME height was my SINGLE TOP COLA that I left intact.
Now, I will have my big top cola, along with a bunch of side branching, all at canopy level..
Am I making sense or just kicking rocks?
Here is a picture from tonight.
