The supreme court ruled that big business money is as green as the individual's. Often, big business interests are not the interests of average citizens. None, Masons aren't a secret society as their meetings and members are announced and available online or in person at masonic lodges. Scottish and York Rite masons are in the same boat.

What people call "evil" or "conspiracy" masons almost always are not masons at all but some pseudo cult that they've blended a bunch of random bullshit together which they get off of youtube videos.

Masons aren't evil at all. There could be people that are evil that so happen to be in freemasonry, but Masons would never allow them to stay in the Lodge for long. 17 U.S presidents have been Masons. Benjamin Franklin brought and made sure Freemasonry (non-operative) was rooted deep into american soil.

Is it a conspiracy? No, simply put, men of education, wealth and power were almost always brought up by non operative masons. Most masons back in those times only dealt with other masons, as being a Master mason allows you to be trusted in ANY lodge ANYWHERE. So it was only normal that most people of great fame, fortune and historical importance were masons due to the sheer amount of masons brought under the lodge's wing to become a proper adult.

There are hundreds of thousands of alive masons, and countless millions who have past, with those kind of numbers your members are bound to show up a lot in history.
