Good ol Thunder Goo!!! Still the best in the garden next Bubba Kush crosses and OG hybrids!!! Kills the Blue Dream I have also! I should have meds floating around clubs in Nor Cal by summer so keep a eye out and you thank me after you smell and smoke it....

It's been awesome to watch your plants grow up over the summer even if it was just through pictures.
I'm so excited that I was able to grow just one plant this year, it was a great learning experience. Next year is going to be awesome.
I can't help but show off my little girl every chance I get.

What's the background on this strain? I am growing Goo and Blue Dream and hands down, the BD is superior in every way. What BD are you running? That thunder goo for sure has some traits in common with that pic you posted.

I think the decision to grow was a success. First grow not so much, lol. About an ounce of leafy, airy, full of nitrogen weed. Snap crackle pop.

My first Grow was A bomb ...not THE bomb. Way back when the Al Gore"s internet was just a piece of carrot in a little kid's soup. This hippie chick gifted me a book... I don't remember the name of it... (remind me to tell you later not to lend out your books) it talked about soaking you seeds in colchesine. (SP?) Anyway I found some crocus bulbs, squeezed the milky poison from them with a garlic press and soaked my seeds in the juice. With a couple incandescent blue "grow lights" ...up pops this little freak from the dirt. The leaves were deformed beyond recognition. Whacked out mis-shapen stems and nodes and leaves with 18 fingers of different lengths. It was nuts! I showed Dave the resident "Old hippie" in the building the mess ......he told me it was a hermie and was no good... We trashed it and smoked some really sweet Columbian gold that expanded deep in our lungs.

My first round was taken down because of security issues. It wasn't headed in a good direction though.

I was looking for natural medicine for sinus problems and migraines and kept coming across medical marijuana. At the time, I had nasal polyps and waited for almost a year to see an EMT and then another 6 months for the operation.
My research led me to OG for growing techniques. I bought some awesome seeds from Emery for $30 for 15 Shiskaberry x DutchTreat by Cash Crop Ken.
I was inspired by the guys experimenting with CFL's. I stuck 5 CFLs and two computer fans into some Rubbermaid storage tubs and lined it with an emergency blanket. Took an hour to build and came out under $25.
I used Shulz 10-15-10 throughout the grow and got over an ounce of really good smoke.
That one plant held me through to the sinus operation. I took a month long break before the surgery, just in case and used the last of my stash to make couple of batches of medical brownies that really helped in the recovery after surgery.
My first grow lead me to the disovery of the medical benefits of cannabis.

Bagseed, soil, 250W for veg, 400W for flower. OK from start to finish; I wound up with a couple oz. of nice bud with the reddest calyxes I've seen. Good buzz, sweet taste, kept me supplied for months while I grew and harvested a crop of Skunk.
my first grow was an outside plant brought in the escape the northern winter, spent about 5 weeks under a 400hps, budds cam out great, people liked them as well, second grow but first real indoor start to finish ran a 1000mh, learned about heat output from bigger bulbs which cost me about a week of growth, after that is was on, 7 out of ten turned female, had zero problems and a nice harvest
I personally want to forget my first FOUR grows LOL.
Got quality smoke from each grow BUT a success? not at first.
A success is quality PLUS yield for me and that took a couple grows for that to happen for me.

well if success is measured by actually having buds to smoke then i'd say yes....i had a single 400w in my first appartment ever when i was in my late teens i had 12 plants in 10 inch pots 4 blueberry 4 bc bigbud and 4 random bag seed i ended up with a total of 10 oz+
...... at the time i thought i was the man but now i remember that actually the product was CRAP i was just soo pumped that i actually grew something i thought it was amazing....when actually it wasen't....they were only flushed once.......gross. the ash was ssooo black and you'd have to light the thing over 10 times to finish a joint..........as long as i learn from my mistakes then it's all good....
