HELP P def due to pH... questionsss

What's up IC? first post:wave:
heard this was a well read community who could :1help:

Got a lil problem right now with one of the girls. Its week five of flower. She's sittin in a FFOF mix with 35% perlite 20% EWC and lime. Her fan leaves are showing bad P def. from the bottom up. My run off was 5-5.5 for a couple days. Been flushing out with 6.5 pH tap water since earlier today. I flushed until the runoff was 6.2

She was on a pretty heavy nute schedule (but lower than label recmds.) with Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom, Liquid Karma, Cha-Ching, and a couple drops of superthrive. (this shit is acidic! what can i mix in here every watering to up the pH a bit? KOH? i added a little more powdered lime, not a lot at all i know that it stays in the soil for a looong time.)

Wondering if, and how long it will be before she pulls out of this funk. I don't wanna lose this girl either, revegging is in the future for her.

Thanks everybody.

edit:
It's been going on for about a week. give or take a day or two.

You need to raise your PH to around 7.0 for your grow, it is too low right now and causing your problem

Would that be to allow maximum uptake of phosphorus to the plant?
would 6.5 be okay? i don't want an iron and manganese deficiency next. or am i just trippin?

thanks for the quick reply!

You're tripping i'm afraid.. I personally like a ph of between 6.7-NO HIGHER than7.0 sounds Check ph in and out and nute LIGHTLY, checkin ph im and with an obssession.
HL is correct...ph is your issue. Your soil is old and as the older roots die off it can
play havoc with your plant. A good transplant into a quality soil is another idea.
Remember....correct ph is you and your plant's friend. Also dump the Superthrive and consider adding CalMag. What is the ppm of your water?

good luck

Phosphorous deficiencies can be caused fron high or low pH.
Low pH cause iron to precipitate with P tying it up, high pH calcium precipitates with P tying it up. But high pH would give you iron and mang def.
Sounds a lot more like you've got low pH troubles. Heavy nutes will build up and lower the pH in the medium. Flush and go with light nutes.

okay they've had plain tap water for a week. ph of run off is 6.5ish. The soil drains great.

ppm unknown, no way to test... on the fence about a meter... someone push me.

The condition is worsening!!
lights came on tonight and i found 2 fan leaves on the fucking ground. that makes five dead leaves.... They're getting brown necrotic spots from the center of the leaf out; from the bottom fan leaves up. The underside is light purple blotched on the affected leaves. Their color is light green/yellow. The spotting is yellow/reddish progressing to dark brown as leaf dies.

Leaf tips are curled down. but the leaves start to pray close to the stem. \/ as opposed to ___ .

about the spotting:
say the leaf is your hand, your fingers each a part of the leaf. From your middle digits outward, there would be brown/yellow spotting/painting rather? starts as spots ends in a big blotch
one leaf has a rillo (swisher sweet ha ha B] ) diameter round spot close to the tip of the middle digit on the edge of the leaf. make sense? its reddish brown

My nute solution was 4.5-5.5pH for a couple weeks. I think it could be a salt build up due to the Cha_ching i was using. I really need to fix this. These are my babies and its taking a mental toll on me! I want to reveg the one that's sick because she's so fucking resinous and smells like pure god's vagina. SAVE MY BABIES!!!!!!!!

if you need a picture, it can be obtained... as a last resort.

edit:
about my nutes. i use pH liquid tester. With my nutes in the water, it tests red in color. (acidic). (4-5 pH) What do I add to the solution to buffer that acidity? is there some magical pH up or pH down liquid thats safe with soil? help please. I want to feed them at least once more if not twice more before their chop but cannot do so without something to raise the damn pH of the nute solution.

i dont want to transplant this late in their cycle either. unless someone can persuade me otherwise... im worried about the amount of shock killing my last three months of hard work.... anyone wanna enlighten me?

thank you so much everyone who has helped. This community is great.

What substrate/medium are you using? soil
What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) FFOF 3 parts, perlite 1.5 parts, .75 parts ewc, 1/4 tsp lime
What Nutrient's are you using? was using FF BB,TB, liquid karma, cha-ching
How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? per gallon, bb 2 tsp/ tb 2 tsp/ lk 2.5 tsp/ 1/5 tsp cha-ching, 1 drop superthrive
*Knowing the brand is very helpful*
How often are you feeding?
every 2 days when soil dries
If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients? day 3 at very reduced quantities. (1/8 tsp of gb and tiger bloom)
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"?
nute run off is 4.5-5.5 pH. plain tap run-off is 6.5pH

the low pH in your medium has caused calcium to leach and therefore your buffer. You can get some pH up, from the hydro store. or online. you can probably use pH up for spas at home depot.

So you flushed and the runoff had low pH. Is the runoff still low?
They're in FF so they should have enough nutes ?
Seems like all you can do is run a bunch of water though then wait. You can make 3 weeks?till they finish. def do not repot and risk disaster.
I'd bet it was concentrated nutes that caused this.

Hey thanks man. big big help and gave me some peace of mind. k+ if/when i can

I agree, it was concentrated nutes.

The runoff is 6.5 now. its normalized.

I just need to nute lightly again and see whats up. lost some more leaves today... other growth isnt showing bad signs yet....

I have another girl under the exact same watering plan , showing no signs of deficiencies but she seems stunted... anyone know whats up?
the soil seems a little compacted... can i shake it up somehow?

thanks again
