im studying from the comfort of my home how to become a refrigerator repairman

Haha i used to do that man, good times. I used to be able to replace a compressor in about 45 minutes on a good day. I miss that job, was a lot of fun running around and seeing people in their homes. I'd try to get a job for a company in an affluent area so you can see how all the rich folks live, I did and MAN could I tell you some stories!

You need a poll option for student AND employed.

I'm working full-ish time (35 hours/week), + 13 credits of classes after work. It is really lame doing both, I'm probably going to take less school next semester.

He'z has da full time jerb. Mechanic - i feel like i never, and i mean NEVER stop werkn. If i'm not actually at werk on fixn on something, and when i'm not werkn on something i'm fixn my grow area, or getting yelled at, or falling asleep when i'm not werkn... Or pondering about going back to school for electrical engineering

I was thinking about that, it probably sucks, but at least you get money from working

Finishing my B.A this semester then starting law school in a year or so which is another 3 years. Then hopefully get a articling position and finially make some money.

being a student sucks, no money, no free time, shit sucks. but I keep on telling myself one day it'll pay off.

entrepreneur ... currently running a full-time business that will be 8 years old next month ... pretty sure it will survive The Shrub's attempt to kill the economy ... using mind to manifest my reality.

graduated college in 1970 ... and it was worth the pain and suffering. Although, back then, tuition at MIT was only $2150.

Just lost my job about a month ago and for the last 2 weeks haven't vaped any pot for fear of having to piss in a cup.... this blows!

Anyone know some good careers that don't randomly drug test? I took an electrical class a couple years ago and even worked as a helper for an electrician... but that shit scares me man!! One wrong move and BAM there goes your fingers... or your life.... however I was thinking of getting back into it cause I don't know what else I'm going to do...

What about becoming a plumber? Is that a difficult trade to learn? I was also thinking about going to school for nursing as it seems like an honorable and in-demand profession, but I am worried I'll never be able to smoke again because of random drug testing... oh well. Being an unemployed 25 year old with no real skills absolutely sucks.

if i ever had told my parents i wanted to be a FULL time student, they wouldve hit me. I grew up thinking there was no such thing, there's always the need for money, right? and that comes from working. i envy you full time students, wish i could do that; hmm maybe i still can...just throw me some debt money and ill be good:)
