ubet,

Thanks for the response. And correct me if I'm wrong but isn't 6.5 ok for ph?
Also, what do you mean by "spray is hot?"

the first 2 pics looks like you plants have heat stress/burnt (to close to the light)..
dont have you fan blowing right ontop of the plants...eg. have it faceing the wall .the rush of air hitting the wall will spread the around the room alot better

bottom pic ,,,get some airflow about there and tidy up the bottom of the plants

keep it green

The first two pictures indicate one thing only - LIGHT BLEACHING. This is what it is, without a doubt. No big deal but raise your lights or tie the bleached, higher parts of the canopy down.

6.5 is getting high i would say you have quit a bit of drift going on. you should start out around 5.8 and re adjust around 6.5. I agree with the other two on light bleaching its just that you stated you were using 600 watts and that its 2 feet from the canopy this should be high enough. Is the light in aircooled hood or open? I also think that the spray used had some effect on them.

Thanks for the response guys. IC Mag is the only place that get me anywhere these days. The other sites are... eh.

Anyways, the 600w light actually has no glass for it. I know... I know... :wallbash: I will get a piece cut ASAP. It is aircooled with a squirrel fan.

However, I was also thinking that 2 feet was enough space apart to avoid light bleaching. Do you think that the glass cover will reduce this? Is the bleaching occurring from the light itself or from the heat emitted from it?

You're air cooling without glass? hm...

Glass won't prevent light-bleaching. Light-bleaching is caused mainly by light, not heat. 2 feet really should be OK but I would at least tie the bleached cola down a bit lower and see if the rest of the canopy does any better at a 2 foot distance from the light.

How long have you been using that tent?If that tent is new and you just put those in their than off-gassing is most likely your problem and your ph is out of range for that type of set up

you better pray its not or you might aswell bin them.... (search off gasing/tent ect etc)

haveing your fan blowing right ontop of you ladys will give heatstrees aswell,,,,you plants might be far anuff away from the light but a constent hot wind blowing down will cause this to...

Off gassing? Hm..Ive never heard of that...
What would be an ideal ph to work with off gassing?

Your ph for a ebb and flow set up is not right

If that tent is brand new and those are the first plants you put in their within the last few days i would almost guarantee it is off-gassing from the tents pvc lining

Now if you started those plants in that tent and your problems are recent then off gassing is not your problem you need to look elsewhere

If off-gassing is the issue throw the tent away or at least get it completely out of the grow room their is no cure

Yea the plants have been there for 6 weeks and this just started happening.. So I dont think its off gassing..

I will check on the fans and ph though.

Thanks for the input everyone.
